“I order some music cds and it took 3 weeks to a month to get them and when I received them one of the cds had low volume so I sent it back two weeks past so I e-mail them they did ansewer back saying they will let me know when they receive it back they will take care of it but I still have not heared from them and another three weeks has past no more dealing with them.”

Problem description:
On April 4th, I ordered a number of T--shirts from MixUnit.com, a webite that sells various music-related product. They also do business as MixTape.com and are listed through the BBB.Org site as The Music Unit, LLC. The purchase was made for $214.95. I had double ordered one shirt and followed up immediately with a request through the Customer Service portal on their website to please simply credit that back. From then on, I heard nothing. I kept trying: Through the portal and direct email. No response. On the 7th, they charged my credit card. On the 11th, I DID receive a response that stated they had credited my account - for the double ordered shirt. That's it. No tracking detail, nothing about the other shirts. Interestingly, as soon as I received that email, I then was hit with almost a dozen fraudulent attempts on the same card, all of which came from the Oakland/San Francisco area. If you look at the BBB profile, the lack of contact and product is something others have experienced , as well. The owner is Mr. Michael Rios. I have found multiple telephone numbers for him. None are answered, while one, which is in their billing descriptor, does noit identify the company and is not serviceable due to "trhe mailbox being full." I am going to refer this to the CT Attorney General as a possible conduit to fraudulent activity (ie. passing the card info to others). I have sent an email to the company letting them know that I am going to dispute the charge through my CC company and that I will have reached out to CT BBB and the AG's office. This stuff needs to stop. It is criminal behavior, not simply bad business practices.
