“Had problem when trying to change provider of mobile phone. EE were unable to unlock the phone which had been bought a few years ago. “Cost £65, took a week, worked.
The process was smooth enough, and I believe the speed to retrieve the keys is dependent on the phone and the network that has it locked.
My lower score was that it wasn't clear to me that the first payment of £15 was just to check that the phone could be unlocked (a check that took a couple of minutes). A second £50 charge to actually start the process of retrieving the codes was a suprise, and once that seems like it should have been signposted before the initial payment.”

Just to clarify: our terms say “2.1 It is not possible to cancel your order once it is paid for. Pre-orders, eligibility check, and unlocking costs are incurred immediately upon placing your order.” And our Refund Policy states: “Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable.” That is why the initial £14.99 eligibility check and the subsequent £49 unlock are separate charges.
I can see your order (placed 12 Sep 2026) is marked “Unlock Complete” and the codes were delivered (NETWORK=37968607 PROVIDER=83968492 DEFREEZE=85371416, etc.) — I’m glad it worked for you. I’ll pass your comment to the team so we make the eligibility-check charge clearer on the checkout flow.

The waiting period was long and I have been scammed by other sites claiming to be legitimate, however, the communication and updates on the tracking order provided gave me the confidence to continue a little longer...
The process even went to 99% and was stuck there for a while...
