“Bought furniture and a few days later they went into liquidation and starting trading the next day. Still won’t give me my furniture. Scammers DO NOT BUY”

“The guys went into liquidation and have continued trading the next day under a different name. I've been told the order I've paid for will not be fulfilled and I've lost the money This has happened to thousands of people DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISITS”

“OID Spent over £5000 on garden furniture which was under warranty. Have already needed a few replacements but last summer some of our chairs started to split and the rattan on our corner sofa started to unravel. Contacted the company and was told it would be replaced last year. Nothing happened, so contacted again in Feb this year. Got told 8 week wait... so contacted again and got told another 8 week wait. In the meantime our rattan table has all split and because they don’t make that model anymore we were offered a credit note to buy something of the same value to replace it. Placed that order about 4 months ago. Hasn't arrived. Now, we have received a letter to say the company has gone into administration and basically "tough luck" no orders will be fulfilled, no repairs will be happening and no refunds will be issued. But they very kindly told us we could repurchase again through the new company??!! Don’t think so. Won't spend a penny with them again. The website is still exactly the same you wouldn't know anything has changed, they still have the same sale on they had when we purchased £700 worth of furniture and accessories, none of which we will receive. Absolutely disgusted that all of our rattan is basically broken and we're stuck with it, no warranty and we've also lost £700 worth of orders placed recently. Don't buy from here, the rattan doesn't last at all it'll split after 1-2 years hence why they have such an extended warranty but don't trust it! Will never recommend and will never buy from here again.”

“Visited the Caterham showroom and received excellent customer service from the lovely Leana. She was a great help in deciding which range best suited our needs and very efficient in processing our order. Can't praise Leana enough - she made our visit a worthwhile and enjoyable experience. Furniture not due for delivery yet so can't comment on that aspect.”

“Excellent service and advice throughout - fantastic quality product. We did lots and lots of research on what to buy, visited the showroom twice as it’s not cheap but wanted something to fulfil a lot of different needs and last a long long time. Worth saving up for! Very sturdy very good looking lovely colour and extremely pleased with it. Danica and Leana in Caterham branch very helpful indeed.”

“We spent £790 on new cushion covers. We paid in advance and in time for a day we required them for. In total there were 22 charcoal covers. What arrive was 3 green cushions! How on earth can they have made such a monumental mess up. Tried to ring but they were shut. Now, due to their mammoth mistake we won’t have them by Saturday. How can they think 3 green cushions cost £790?”

“I really wasn’t expected to be a little bit let down by the staff at Chelmsford moda. When my wife and I went into the shop we were treated very nicely offering tea coffee, I had a tea we sat down and we ordered our table and chairs. I asked if we can pay the £99 for fast delivery because we were hoping to get it by the weekend which we were informed you might be lucky it’s a minimum of 3 days but we thought to ourselves it’s a bit short notice which we totally understood. The weekend came and went we didn’t hear anything,half way through the following week my wife phoned the number and was told do we want to book a delivery date, my wife was surprised and said no we were hoping to receive our order that week. The person on the phone said we have to book a date for delivery. We assumed that was already done by the staff so we phoned the shop in Chelmsford and Claire said she would phone them and get back. They wasn’t there so she informed my wife she would phone in the morning and then phone me and let me know what was said.. Claire didn’t phone me and hasn’t phoned me my wife got a email from the people who are delivering our table and chairs. In total it will be 12 working days which isn’t the end of the world but we was told when purchasing our table and chairs it’s minimum 3 days and max 10 days.we had arranged time off for the delivery, but my wife was informed that they won’t be in our area we said we bought it from Chelmsford.My wife and I have the feeling that as soon as the order was taken that was it,we feel if my wife hadn’t phoned we still wouldn’t have heard anything,we really aren’t the type of people who wright anything negative about anyone but we just expected more from moda and there staff.Kind regards. “We had viewed a bar table set online, but popped into the caterham branch to check out the overall quality of the furniture in the flesh. Items we viewed were well built and cushions were good quality. We were assisted by Leana, who was very helpful and friendly, answering all of our queries. Leana placed the order for us and contacted the delivery team to set a delivery date. She could not have been more helpful. We await delivery of the items.”

“Bought a U shaped sofa set from Moda in Caterham - much better to see them physically rather than on line. Good quality and very comfortable. Leana was very helpful in helping me choose what to buy. Excited now and looking forward to delivery in a few weeks time.”

“Very happy with purchase. We had a query and my husband rang up and spoke to Daniel in the deliveries department, he went and found out and answered our question . Some companies wouldn’t take the trouble with this . Quick delivery by friendly couriers. Good quality and cannot wait to use it. Would recommend.”

“We had experienced some issues with our furniture due to a couple of design faults. We came into the Manchester show room to discuss the issues and get some information from the staff. We spoke to both Rebecca and Kyle who were outstanding, knowledgeable and genuinely listened to try and resolve the problem. After having some very unhelpful conversations over the phone with customers service leaving us feeling disheartened, we have now been left feeling so much more satisfied with the in person service we received.”

“Pete and Paul are a credit to Moda. Very professional and friendly. They delivered 2 two seat benches in place of a three seat bench. Moda arranged this due to the bench we ordered being delayed. Moda are very helpful and have great customer service.”
