“Malts for fun, not practical for a family. Has ruined my vac and washing machine with all of the wool. Vac 3 times a day. Not in any way worth the cost. No help from rugs uk”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear that you are not happy with your purchase. Looking at your order, I can see you did not purchase a washable rug and therefore it should not have been washed in a washing machine. “I am very impressed with the rug, however, the customer service was abysmal. I had to chase my order on several occasions and even got told a lie that it had left the manufacturers. When I still hadn’t received it a few days later, I was then told that the information I was given was incorrect! The lady I had this time was so much more helpful and finally sorted out where my rug was! After all the delays, I must say I am very happy with the rug. It looks stunning in my hall. The material is of good quality and has an expensive looking design. I will be ordering another in a creamier colour.”

“Ordered a rug for Christmas in early December. Checked the ‘up to’ working days for delivery and it would arrive just in time at the very latest and so placed the order The week before Christmas was contacted saying it would be delayed, then told on the phone it was fine, then informed our if stock until FEBRUARY As a result I email customer services twice, asking if they could recommend a similar product that would arrive in time for Christmas and got no reply. Still awaiting a reply nearly 4 weeks later for that matter. Awful”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear about the troubles encountered with regards to your order. Due to the vast range of rugs we sell we are unable to hold stock of them all in our warehouse. We therefore have to order stock in from our suppliers as and when it is required for our customers. If a rug is found to be out of stock we inform you as soon as we have been made aware. With regards to finding alternatives, this is something we would be happy to look into for you. “Only observation is that carpets sheds lot of top layer bcos of wool and would like yo give a feedback in 3months. I spoke to a lady in modern rugs that it should reduce and stop shedding in less than 3 months.”

“Really impressed with the quality of the rug for the price. Would definitely buy from the site again. Dispatch was really quick after I'd ordered. The only downside was using UPS for delivery - they weren't the best for tracking the parcel or making alternative arrangements for delivery. Modern Rugs service was great!”
