“I have not had great customer service with this company. They rug arrived badly wrinkled. It was expensive wool rug at £279. The packaging was so tightly taped. I had to cut it all off. The rug is still wrinkled on the floor after over 2 weeks. I e never received a rug in this state before from anywhere else. I sent they photos of the rug and told them I was not happy and asked them for a free returns label. They advised I would have to pay the return, which is unacceptable due to the state it has arrived in as it’s clearly not of the quality I expected. They advised that I iron the rug and sent me a picture of ironing a rug. I am now seeking legal action against them as I am not paying the return. I would never buy from this company again.”

“With two mucky pooches, we needed a machine washable rug. We are very pleased with it. Just not giving it 5 stars as we've not had it long enough to know how it will perform when it inevitable needs washed, although I'm sure it will be fine!”

“I was invited to write a review for my new rug . Easy, the rug is multi colour.and just what I wanted in my wood floor kitchen. It has made the world of difference. The quality is great for a low price rug . To say I am happy is a great understatement. Can highly recommend”

“This is my first rug purchase and I’m thrilled. It is incredibly soft and feels luxurious. I wish there had been a size in between the one I bought and the larger option but otherwise it is perfect”

“I bought 2 rugs, for my new house. I was anxious about delivery as it's new build and has been a nightmare for couriers to find. The customer services for Modern Rugs were really helpful from the start, ensuring the couriers found the house(with no problems, which was a first!), and delivery was really fast too. I had looked around and Modern Rugs had a really wide choice, and the prices were really quite cheap compared to other retailers. When I found the colours, style and sizes that we wanted I ordered them, but I was really not expecting the superior quality rugs that we have received. They are so much nicer than the pictures, thick and warm, and excellent value for money. I wish I had another room that needed a rug as I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Modern Rugs again. They have been brilliant, and I can highly recommend. Thank you”

“I took the decision to buy online as I couldn't find the rug that I was after in the usual shops. I'm glad I did. Great selection and the purchased rug is of good quality and looks better than in the photos. Delivery was positive too and I the website helped me get the delivery date I was after.”

“The service from the company is great but they now use DHL for their delivery and this service is very bad left my rug at a collection point and luckily had someone with a car who could pick it up”

“Purchased 3 Polar PL95 rugs 80 x 150 at a total cost of £149.97. Rugs were extremely thin as you walked on them you could feel the weave under your feet. Rugs are very thin. I asked to return them and wanted to order 3 different thicker rugs and asked if Modern Rugs would do a delivery and collect at the same time with my new order. I was informed no therefore I had to return the rugs myself via a courier at a cost of £25. Therefore did not order my new rugs from Modern Rugs which is a shame as i have placed many orders in the past with them. Even had 2 made to order from Turkey from Modern Rugs. But will not be using them again.”
