“I purchased a lovely rug from modern rugs. But it took a couple of months to arrive after being delayed. It was said to be in stock when I ordered it so I was not expecting this wait. When it did arrive a bottle of stain guard was attached but had opened and leaked saturaging one end of the rug. It did dry and didn't leave any marks (but I did not benefit from the free bottle of stain gaurd as it was mostly gone) However the rug is of good quality and was a reasonable price”

“Rug took 4 months to arrive, whereas on the website it said 3-5working days. They don't check their suppliers stock levels (China). Once we received the item, we were happy with it.”

“Our experience of Modern Rugs got better. The sisal runner we ordered was sent but was the wrong smaller size. They responded on a Sunday, despite being officially closed, and gathered the necessary information from us. In a few days the exchange was made satisfactorily and we like the runner we ordered. It is well made and robust - we had feared a thinner rug - and it has a non slip back. This wasn't clear from the web as I recall. All in all the process needs a small review but the product was better than expected. They nearly made a 'very good'.”
