Hard to know what star rating to give. The rug was gorgeous, excellent quality however I had to return as the colour wasn’t as expected. To be charged £16 return, deduction from my refund ( which I haven’t had yet)is way too high. The rug wasn’t massive, fairly small and easily carried. My fault for not checking returns policy, unfortunately I won’t use this company again.

I wanted to return a rug which I purchased. I have initiated the online returns process and its been almost 3 weeks I am waiting to hear back from Modern Rugs. I've also called them several times and there has been no response on the phone eithrt. It keeps ringing and ringing. Very unprofessional. Not happy at all.

I sent they photos of the rug and told them I was not happy and asked them for a free returns label.

Order rug just under £300 arrived damaged and dirty, was offered a return but the returns process isn't that simple as the rug is very difficult to repackage and you have to wait in all day for a courier.

Ordered a rug just under £300 arrived damaged and dirty, pretty sure it wasn't brand new. customer service only offered refund but the returns policy isn't that simple as you have to arrange courier and wait in all day. The rug is also big and heavy so difficult to repackage. The rug its self would have been nice but disappointed paying that much for a less that perfect product.

Need a more robust returns system not just you deal with it.

” This statement is very misleading as it sound like they do free returns not that you can return an item if it is not correct and you have to pay for the return.

Foolishly I had assumed that the company would operate a returns service (my fault for not doing my research!) when I rang to explain I wanted to return the rug I was disappointed and surprised to be told that it was all down to me to find a courier ( they do supply you with a list of suggested carriers ) and pay for the return.

I went to return my rug for a bigger size , returns are not included . So I went to multiple carriers and they all said it would cost me over 100 euros just to ship back . Not worth the purchase
