“My order supposedly shipped on February 3rd to New Jersey it is nowhere to be found. Terrible customer service no phone number to contact either.
If I am lucky I will receive the order before my vacation and I need the bathing suits and hopefully they even fit.”

“I ordered a few things in mid-December for my February 1st vacation. Plenty of time, right? As I tracked my order, I saw shipment was stuck at USPS in Woodridge, IL.
Contacted Modlily- no phone number - where they could/would not do anything to release existing order. They resubmitted my order, only to have that also hung up at the same USPS facility.
I never received my order and was so disappointed that Modlily couldn't do more for me. They only wanted to refund me in the form of store credit which is useless since I cannot receive merchandise!! They finally refunded my payment to my original form of payment.
Soooooo disappointed because I love Modlily styles and wanted new things for my Mexico trip. Also disappointed that this dumb problem couldn't be rectified by Modlily.”
“I ordered 5 items late December. I received one but not the other 4.I got on a live chat that said it had been received in the US. I showed them a screenshot where it was “supposedly”received near Chicago IL on January 4th. It is February 13th and I live in Des Moines, IA. about 4 hours from Chicago. Then they said it must have gotten. Guessing by the update on USPS, it never made it there. Anyway i asked for a refund in 2 to 5 days. Keeping my fingers crossed. Sorry for the long me message”

The other 4 swimsuits have been saying 'in process' since January.

“I wouldn't even give this a rating of 1 star! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have contacted the company numerous times on different dates by completing a ticket about the shirts I returned and never get a response. I included my order number and everything was returned in its original bag with all the tags on. I got them for Christmas and returned them by Dec. 27th.
The pictures were very deceiving and the quality of the material was thin and cheap!

Then out of the blue my order shows "cancelled" with no explanation. When I finally got ahold of their customer after about 20 tries all they said way "sorry". I paid via Klarna and they said Modlily never contacted them that the order had been cancelled and the only way Klarna can give me a refund is if Modliy contacts them.”
“My first order I got charged for both items in a buy one get one free offer . They refused to give me a refund , credit voucher only. I then tried to return my items because they all stank of cigarette smoke and they again said I could have 35% credit voucher or 20% back to my payment method!I felt I had no choice but to accept the 35% voucher for faulty goods and bought more items . All turned out to be cheap and tacky and nothing like the photos . AVOID these SCAMMERS. They sell shoddy cheap tacky goods and refuse to give your money back even for faulty goods”
“Horrific company!! Bought a swimsuit, it fit but the sewing was awful. I returned it according to their guidelines, after finally getting a shipping label. They charged even though it says first returns labels are free. Two months and 11 emails later I received half of my purchase price. It was pending in my bank and then they rescinded the amount and took it back. I have since never gotten a refund. But they have the swimsuit. !! Buyer beware read the RETURN reviews.”

When their service and their product is so poor, I would never order from them again so I am trying to get my refund put back into my debit account, which has been one excuse after another. “Modlily will not get your items delivered on time, will not do you right when you complain, and will make deceptive statements along the way. I ordered clothes for my wife as a Christmas gift on 12-01-2024. The promised shipping date was "Earliest Dec 02, 2024" and "Latest Dec 04, 2024." The promised delivery date was "Earliest Dec 09, 2024" and "Latest Dec 16, 2024." The USPS did not receive the items until Jan 2, 2025, and I did not receive it until Jan 6, 2025. Terrible! But the deception goes beyond missed shipping and delivery dates. From the order date 12-01-24 to the date the USPS actually received the item on Jan 2, 2025, the Modlily website showed "Arrived shipping partner facility" a total of 20 times. When I contacted them multiple times during this period, stated I needed the gift before Christmas, and shared I thought it was lost, they would screenshot the latest "arrival" message on their website and claim it was on the way. Of course over time, I realized this is all planned on their part and there is no truth to it. Further, when I informed them that it was way past their due date and I had to buy another gift, they ignored my multiple requests for a refund and once again screenshot the latest "arrived at shipping partner facility" to indicate it was coming soon. They issue these "arrived" messages to make you think it is moving when it is not. Listen, save yourself the headache and disappointment because now you know this is a deceptive company that will not do you right. In dealing with them, it was clear that this was not a one-time past due issue. It was systemic deception. STAY AWAY! I don't have time to review stuff like this, but if I can just help keep this from happening to you the reader, then it is worth it.”
