“I placed an order for swimsuits and received a confirmation email with a tracking link. I checked the link the next day which said the order was processing. Over a week later I checked the link again and apparently I don't have a valid email address. I am pretty sure I have been scammed.”
“I’ve had 2 bad experiences with this company. I ordered 2 tops with 3 one free and a couple of days later saw the ideal work top that I’d been looking for so ordered 3. First order came with only 2 tops Modily advised 3rd top free only if available?? Shouldn’t they know this when you order! 2nd order came while items ok they didn’t appear the same as picture- I kept one and returned the other 2 items costing me nzd$45 in postage to send to UK. Nearly 3 months later still no refund despite many emails DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY”

What I am going to review is their dishonest business practices. BEWARE. When you go to check out make sure you uncheck the shipping fee coupon that automatically shows up in your cart. “Totally a scam.. I don’t understand how Facebook lets them continue to advertise with all the bad reviews.. I ordered 4 bathing suits . I kept 1 and returned the other 3. They sent me a medium when I ordered a large and I got 2 tops with no bottoms I ask for refund and they said it did not fit their criteria and instead offered me $10 store credit for 3 bathing suits returned brand new.. Total rip off but a lesson learned. SCAM”

I didn't even try them on returned them immediately and then was told it didn't meet their return criteria because they had a peculiar smell and that is why I was sending them back. Good Bad infuriating! I'm sick of Amazon and I wanted to try to buy clothes from other companies. I purchased 2 tops from Modliy I was very excited about the designs and colours. I found the fabric comfortable and I like the flower pattern for the under layer and the clip at the waist is quite cute It fits in the shoulders and hips, however, the sleeves are too long and I couldn't wear it without doing alterations. I was also disappointed that the purple outer fabric is not as vibrant as the picture shows. I also bought another top that has some similarities with it being two layers of purple and flower pattern underneath. The second one, the shoulders fit, and the bust area fits, but at the back there is excess fabric and in order for me to wear it, I would have to have it altered. I also found the fabric comfortable. Because I can't wear these garments without doing alterations, I decided to return them and get a refund. I have been unable to do this. The instructions indicate that I need to print a return slip. There is no possible way to print a return slip from the website. I've contacted customer service three times to try to get a return slip. Each interaction whether was email or live chat has taken a total of three hours and I still don't have a return slip. I was also given some confusing information about returning it with photos, but I'm not sure what photos I am supposed to take or how do I include photos in a package that I'm mailing. do they expect me to print photos of the clothes? I paid $100 Canadian for these two items to return them. It will cost me $35 to mail to the address that they provided. Without having the proper documentation, I am very sceptical that they will return my money. So spending $35 to send it back is a gamble. They could not provide me with the proper paperwork to guarantee a refund I requested 75% back of the money. They refused. I requested 50% of the money and they refused.. They did offer me coupons and discounts on my more purchases, but this doesn't help me if the garments are not gonna fit me properly. This is been long and arduous waste of my money my time and most importantly my energy. I give a deep sigh as I open the Amazon app. 😔”

“I have ordered from Modlily before and been very pleased. But I ordered and paid for a dress on 4-2-24. When I placed my order they said it was in stock but the delivery date was 6 weeks out. When the delivery date came, still no order. I have contacted them several times via their "live Chat", which seems the only way to contact them. They have promised expedited shipping, twice. I have now received 2 USPS tracking numbers. One says it should be delivered today by 11. That's a no show so far. The other says there is no status available on that tracking number. I have asked why 2 tracking numbers and the "live chat" has gone dark on me. I have asked to have my money refunded. Today 6-5, I still have no order and my money has not been refunded.”

“I ordered several suits. They did not fit well. I attempted to get a refund. After I mailed tge suits back in the company sent me an e-mail saying they would not issue a refund because the clothes were only in good condition. I only tried the clothing on once and immediately packed it for return.
I requested that they send me the suits back but no response. I've lost money and clothes. I could have gifted the suits to someone if I knew they would deny a refund.”
