“This company has cute swimsuits. Terrible about processing orders and getting you your purchase. Ordered on March 13 and the took the money same day and said processing. As of today April 28th still processing and no suits for vacation. Thought they would be here way before now. Did the urge processing doesn’t help. The apologize for the delay say the will process soon. I will never order from them again poorest customer service that they have seen. Will file a complaint to the bbb as well.”

Modlily will take your money and not ship your order, then lie to you and refuse to help you. My order was supposed to arrive by March 27 at the latest and it had still not arrived.
When I reach out to them all I get are canned, pre-set answers which do not address the specific question I asked. Last time I contacted them I was promised my order would be expedited and would ship within 24 hours. Another lie from Modlily.
Thankfully I did not spend all that much, and I have contacted PayPal to try to get a refund. I guess I can consider it the price I paid to learn to never deal with this dishonest, horrible company again.”
“I returned 3 items, and I just received an email stating items were damaged and smelled. I never tried on 1 of the 3 and the other 2 were tried on briefly. They are offering me a $10 courtesy credit. I immediately emailed them and requested a full refund minus shipping or the return of the items I returned undamaged. I failed to research this company and appeared to have gotten taken. After reading several reviews I guess I was lucky to even have received my order. Please stay away from this company.Most of the reviews I just read is exactly the same email stating damage and smell. Obviously this company has limited stock and is resaling returned items. I needed something for a wedding with no time to shop. There merchandise is eye-catching, but please benefit from my experience as well as many others and don't let them take your money.”

“I ordered two bathing suits using their sizing chart. The first was a tankini top and skirt bottom. The sewing on the top was crooked and fit one breast but the other side a different uneven shape.
The second one piece had a sash sewed across the stomach area. It was not straight across but crooked.
I asked for my money back. No one can wear these suits. They are poorly made.
I have send messages to customer service. I am waiting for a response and the return of my payment.”
“Beware! I purchased a dress and two tops from Modlily. I didn't like the feel of the fabric, so I returned all three items. (Two of the items I never took out of the bag) They now claim the dress was returned damaged with a "peculiar smell" and will only refund $94 from my $111 order and the $94 is a store credit. They refuse to put money back on my debit card. I don't like the material of their clothes so I obviously don't want a $94 store credit.”
“I made the mistake of ordering 3 tops...rinsed them & dried them....bought special wrinkle spray. Can NOT get the wrinkles out! Will try ironing. The colors are WAY weird! Nothing like the photos. I have items in my cart that I will delete! Glad I waited to see the quality of the first items!”
“BEWARE! I ordered a dress, it took a month to arrive, it was WAY too long, so I filed a return, packed it up, and shipped it back. They now claim the dress was returned damaged with a "peculiar smell" and refuse to issue me a refund. This is a SCAM. The dress was never worn, never damaged.”
“BUYER BEWARE!! This company charges a "shipping insurance fee". I went round and round with them to remove it or cancel the order. I told them I did not want to do business with them. After 10 days and many emails they finally canceled the order - for store credit! Now I'm going through my credit card company. “I placed a large order, kept two items that I love and returned the rest. Modlily refuses to refund to my credit card of purchase. They are keeping it as a “store credit” despite two written requests and a phone call. Instead, I have gotten multiple messages saying my balance is safe with them and that it would be to my benefit to keep it with them. I just want my money back!!”
“ONE OF THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCES! Clothes are terribly made. Fit horribly! Then when I returned the items they would not give me a full refund. They charge for the return label and then instead of giving you the full refund they try to say they gave a discount. The discount was already calculated in the purchase amount so not sure why they won’t refund the full amount. This is a fraudulent and dishonest company! Don’t shop here. I wish I would have never bought from them!!!!”
“I ordered three dresses. I got them home, tried on each one and one of them didn't fit well so I put it back in the package it came in and returned it. Modlilly refused to refund my money because they said the item didn't meet there return criteria! There's no way that anything was wrong with that dress as I had it on for no more than two minutes. If you need to return something, make sure you document its condition before you send it back!”
“Placed an order for a swimsuit coverup, three swimsuits and some flip flops on 3/17/24. Leaving on cruise 4/20/24. Received swimsuit coverup on 3/21/24. I had no reason to think the rest of order wouldn’t be delivered on time. The rest of the order said estimated delivery 4/10-4/17. Contacted Customer Service 4/14 asking if my order will be here by 4/17 because it still shows processing and I will need to go out and shop for swimsuits. They said it should be here by 4/17, but they will contact shipper and ask them to expedite the package. Today is 4/16 and it is still processing. I am headed out to shop for swimsuits.”

“The outfit I ordered looked nothing like the picture completely different material I returned with their shipping label which I knew they would deduct from refund but instead of refunding my credit card they gave me a store credit which I knew I would never order anything else. I can chop this 52$ as money lost I will never order from this place again. Shouldn't treat customers like this if I could have give them no stars I would. I sure hope people see this review so they can be warned.”
