I will admit that I had forgotten how amazing Monarch's robes were and once we pulled the old robe out for my youngest, I immediately decided I needed to order the new size for my older kid. She loves it, it is heavy duty soft cotton, very absorbent. Extra bonus - I was looking for an alternative to the mess of towels that my kid just couldn't manage to keep properly wrapped around herself after a shower (motor coordination issues) and this is perfect! The item was ‘as advertised ‘ and it arrived when promised This is the 4th terry velour kimono style bathrobe I’ve bought and it’s by far the highest quality of them all, even the 2 that were purchased at a 4 diamond resort.! I was hesitant to buy it sight unseen because I wanted a good weight robe, but I have no regrets ! This robe is so soft, like velvet almost and it’s also a very substantial weight I also love the length . The other 3 robes hit just below the knee but this one is longer and will be much warmer in the chillier months. I’m 5’4 3/4” and It hits me about 6” above the ankle bone, nice and cozy. Another bonus is that the shoulder seams are reinforced, being stitched again about an inch or so away from the original seam which looks attractive and makes the robe more durable I highly recommend this company, you definitely get what you pay for in my opinion.”
