“I was scammed into making payments totalling ~£1 500 for goods I thought my son had bought. I can't thank the Monzo Bank fraud team enough for helping me firstly recognise what was going on, and then refunding me in full less a £100 fee. They were very professional and knew what they were dealing with.”

“I struggled to get a credit card even from my salary bank. Monzo offered me one and am happy now as it has an option to increase limit 2-fold in 3 months.”

“Everyone should be very careful i got scammed on this site twice, fortunately i was very lucky to get a recovery company site from A good friend of mine who is a CIA who introduced me to this company, the company helped me to get my lost funds back within a few week and I'm very very happy honestly speaking, I should have dropped the company site link here, but this scam company refused. “To be honest, this company is full with bad people who defraud others. When I requested a withdrawal, they rejected it and left me with nothing, despite the fact that I had invested with them and made significant gains. Days and months passed with no permission to withdraw and no correspondence. I'm happy everything worked out because m_a_d_a_c_o_v_i . c_o was the only way I could recover my investment.”

“Been with this bank for about 5/6 years now. I've never had a problem with them at all. All problems have been resolved easily. Unknown charges get dealt with in no time. Offer great interest rates. I literally can't fault them.”

“I have used monzo for years now as well as friends and family only ever had 1 or 2 minor issues . Alot of these reviews about accounts being frozen always feel a bit dodgy to me because they offer little context about why they might be flagged as fraud so i take all that about being frozen etc with a pinch of salt”

“This is the best bank I have ever been with. It has so many useful tools and its notifications are brilliant. It shows you every time your card is used and adds up for you how much you ve spent that day so you never overspend because your not sure how much you ve spent on your card. You can get paid a day early and I had a problem where sainsburys had charged me twice and they refunded my money back into my account immediately I didn't have to wait while they 'investigated it' . So far everything about this bank has been above and beyond what I've recieved from other accounts. I love my monzo account.”

“I joined Monzo after doing some research to find the best way of spending money abroad. My old bank would charge me extra fees for using my card, using ATMs and then even give me their own exchange rate which was far poorer than the actual one from Visa/Mastercard. Monzo is a far better alternative as they don’t charge these fees and give you the actual exchange rate i.e. the one you find on Google. The app feels very slick and user friendly, which makes it easy to keep an eye on and manage the money you have coming in and going out. I’ve actually now started using it as my main bank and way of spending in the UK too. The customer service has also been excellent, I received a quick and helpful response after contacting them first with a question. It was also a nice bonus to get a free £5 put into my account for signing up first using a friend’s referral link.
