“Awful customer service, you have a few nice staff but the rest are utterly unhelpful, you ask a question you get " Dunno" and shrugged shoulders or they run away and hide, stock is below par, security guard just chatting up women, I have used the Holloway Road Branch a few times because it was near to me and every time it's the same rudeness from staff, checkouts are so unorganized and if a cashier sees customers coming to be served they give you a look like they are disturbing them because they don't want to work and I'm sure they put shopping through for family and friends. Lidl has opened across the way so off I pop or to Iceland.”
“DREADFUL. Went into the Bath store Thursday 17/6 one of the security guards at the door wasn’t wearing a mask. Nobody was sanitising trolleys or baskets. 10 tills but only 4 open queues all the way down the isles clearly they are trying to force everyone onto the automated checkouts. The poor woman on the till I went to was obviously suffering badly with her back but the supervisor just looked on uncaring. She had her mask round her chin though and the young man on the next till didn’t even have one. The woman serving in the restaurant no mask. Clearly Morrisons you couldn’t care less about your customers or staff. Shame on you.”
“I went to Morrisons in Portsmouth near commercial road today. First time I have been in about 9 months. What a dive. Untidy, overpriced badly compared to Tesco, Asda, Lidl, Aldi and even Sainsbury's. Speaking about Sainsburys, Our Sainsbury's was finally shut down after years. Very sad as that shop was warm, inviting and lovely staff. They definitely got rid of the wrong supermarket. This Morrisons in Portsmouth should be shut down. Not even really busy. People walking around without face coverings. The staff blocking alot off the Isles with pallets. The staff seem like they have all had an labotomy. Even the freezers had broken down in a lot of places. Easily the worst supermarket company in Britain. Inferior quality of lot of their stuff. Won't ever be back. I recommend everyone shops at Tesco, so much nicer. I used to think Morrisons was okay years okay but now it's an embarrassment, well this branch is Do yourselves a favour and avoid like the plague. Rant over😏”
“Bilston Store. This store used to open at 6am before covid. Then it was 6 to 7 am for NHS staff. Just to top it all off they are now opening at 7am. There are a lot of people that go into Morrison's between 6 and 7am. Why is it that they do jot even gave the decency to advertise the new opening times. I for one will not be going again.”
“Did I just witness in the queue you tried to charge someone 75p for a bag, hang on a minute I'm not imaging it because a reviewer has just stated that you did!! Thieving buggers, I really hope Morrisons gets closed down!!”
“won't be shopping at morrisons any more, just been for 1st time in a long time and could not believe the prices, plus goverment put plastic bags up to 10p and now your charging 75p on top of food prices. it's a no from me will be going elsewhere from now on.”
“Morrisons Holloway Road Store: What a shamble of a store, dirty needs to be closed down for a good refurbishment, shelves are never fully stocked, you will never walk into this branch and find everything filled, staff don't seem to bothered about anything only a few are pleasant. Checkouts are dirty, broken or closed down, why bother having them. Carpark don't even go there, too many staff in this place not bothering or interested about nothing, really this place has had its day, I have seen customers who were life long customers now shopping in Lidl and Iceland, as of today off I pop to Lidl and Iceland they will be getting my custom from now on.”
“Malvern Store
Used to be really good
Now constant empty shelves and lack of produce.
Lack of staff at tills so queuing occurs up aisles hindering shoppers from moving through store.
Looking to travel down the road to Sainsbury’s as had enough of such poor quality service.
One positive is the Staff are trying their hardest but the management need to seriously look at the operation of the store as its so poor compared to competitors. Constantly discussing this with customers as stood in queues.”
“I went to Morrisons at North road Darlington today, at the Deli counter there stood the fattest serving person you ever did see. She was fatter than the fat controller. I was 2nd in the queue but this `fatter than the fat controller person' served the 3rd in the queue before me. Perhaps the 3rd person was a colleague, I was a bit miffed, as you can imagine, to say the least. No prizes for guessing why she works amongst the pies or who eats them. She might have case against Morrisons for constructive incapacitation.”
“Three hours after my order was due to be delivered yesterday I received an email stating the van had broken down. Today I received a text stating the time they would deliver. Unfortunately this was unsuitable as I was at work. I tried to call the mobile number that sent the text and left a voicemail. I then followed this up with two text messages. No reply. Customer services decided not to answer their phones. No doubt my shopping has been sitting in a van for over 24 hours. Very quick to take my money but not deliver the order. Shoddy service & dreadful communication. and I will not be using Morrison's again. Would give no stars if that was an option.”
“To the people who work in Head Office and higher, open your eyes and it's time to over haul your management and staff, seriously they just can't be bothered working or doing their job and like to just huddle in a group gossiping or doing their own personal shopping while working, what ever staff you have right now need replacing, they are very bad, and what is the point of checkouts when they are hardly open, if you going to be self checkout only then do it because the staff you have on checkouts now a few are very nice and polite but the rest are really miserable and plain rude. GET RID and Bring in NEW PEOPLE and watch your company get back on track.”
“What an earth is going on in your store Morrison?? Out of date stock left on shelves, fruit with fur growing on them, meat is brown, staff unhelpful, just shrug, when I mentioned this to staff member they said Morrisons is going down hill and getting worse and they are not wrong, the staff member at Holloway Road even said they are getting the feeling Morrison is closing down and I for one agree!! Off to Lidl and Aldi for me now!!”
“Morrisons closing down??? Morrisons being taken over??? Something tells me very very soon, either closing down or Amazon is coming for you and you know Amazon is mostly about Home Deliveries and technology and not much staff hmmmm 🤔🤔”
“Really bad customer service in terms of security at Aldershot branch. I popped in to buy sugar which was out of stock. The only way to get out of the store even if you don't buy something is via self service or jumping the closed barrier at the tills. I walked through self service I had a big shopping bag with items purchased from another store. On my way out I was stopped by security man. He asked to look in my shopping bag & asked what I had brought. He was rude & intimidating & the whole incident was embarrassing. I explained that due to layout of store I was unable to get out any other way & couldn't purchase the item I wanted because the store was out of stock. Morissons' security in their Aldershot store isn't professional. He's rude & makes rash judgments that aren't often right based on my experience”
“Close this company down now! Or someone please take it over and employ decent staff and managers, they don't care about stock, customers or Covid, just about Profits and Money. FACT!”
“Not many peppers out-first two i picked up they were so soft i put my finger through them.Red onions also soft.Lack of paper bags to put something in should you find something fresh.Nobody on the delli counter. No meats out at all in the fresh meat section.Lots of empty shelves as usual.Plenty of staff pushing trolleys about zapping things.Lidl opening nearby soon-hurrah!This Kettering Road,Northampton store has to be the worst supermarket in the town.”
“Customer service standard poor today at Malvern store, Worcestershire. A member of staff at a stand near the checkouts beckoned me to go forward to a till that was about to open. When I said, “oh, this one is open now, is it...?” as I couldn’t yet see a checkout member of staff in position, the woman at the stand leaned towards me condescendingly and answered, “well, I wouldn’t be showing you to it if it wasn’t going to open, would I?” With zero customer service skills, why does this person think she is superior to her customers? We are the people who she relies on for a job. Enough said, I’ve had enough of the queues and rude staff there. With Aldi expecting to set up a store half a mile away, I don’t think Morrison’s can afford to treat customers in this rude way.”
“This place has gone down the pan, huge price rises, bare shelves, some staffs are really nice and helpful but a majority are really rude and very vocal about hating Morrisons, management have not time for customers and agree or blame head office, you really had potential to be better than Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Lidl and Aldi, but over the years and during Covid you have really hit rock bottom and your customer service skills that you say you pride your self on is non existent, I would rank the pound shop and B&M 100 times better than Morrisons, Sir Ken had it run brilliantly in the day but over the years the management, the staff you employ and have now ( apart from a few) are dragging your company down, I do not think Morrisons name will be around for much longer , maybe by the end of the year you will really suffer, especially now the More card points to vouchers has gone, bad move here Morrisons, bad move.”
