“My self and husband have been shopping at our local store in Newark for over 20 years. Recently we both became ill and could not get out to shop and have been using the delivery service. This week when I tried to order again I was told I was out of area. I then had to phone Morrisons up and to be told that it had changed and had to go to another site. This wasn’t easy and also I lost the original order. I was told by one of the staff that everyone had been sent an email, (obviously I hadn’t) and as I still couldn’t get into the right address to place another order, I was told that a lot of people had complained that they hadn’t received the email. Eventually I got to right screen and then tried to book a delivery, this was on the Friday and wanted delivery on the Sunday. This was not possible as all the time slots had gone. This made me very stressed and I must say that I found some of the staff very unhelpful about the whole situation and was recommended to book my order on Wednesday if wanted delivery on a Sunday.............”
“At Willenhall store last Wednesday 11 Sept at 12 o'clock there was no one pints of milk on show and no Lamb liver,[a mile away Tesco had both items] Saturday at 9 o'clock there was no brown pick your own cobs, told there would be none that day, yesterday 19 Sept there was no soup in the cafe, today there was no Warburtons Wholemeal bread. I may be unlucky each time but as going two or three times in a week and from a short list at least one or two items are not on a shelf, I know it better go several times in the week to find the missing item but l wonder if people go once a month they give it up to shop there. I told the staff months ago the unsmoked bacon is far too salty to eat l tried it again last week and only one slice proved it is just the same, why is there never streaky bacon on show. The list l go shopping is basic items not strange once a year item.”

“My review is for the cake shop and bakery at small heath store Birmingham the staff are amazing always helpful nothing is ever too much trouble for them I shop there every week and never go home disappointed”
“My review is for the butchery department at Morrisons in Abergavenny.
I called into the store on 09/09/19 to buy some tomahawk steaks. Unfortunately there were none already prepared. I asked at the butchery dept and Stephen the butcher on duty says he could cut some for me . I said I needed three and he prepared them for me immediately saying it was no trouble at all. He was very professional and courteous and never once did I get the impression that it was a chore for him.
Will definitely used this butchery dept again.
My one complaint it that it was pouring with rain and the paper carrier was broken by the time I got to my car.
Ps my son's and husband said steaks were delicious”
“Awful. Change their policy and don't give any notice to customers. Only want your money. Don't care how poor you are. All Morrisons staff i have come across in my complaint have been a waste of oxygen. Don't waste your time complaining. They're useless. They don't care. I even got the CEOs email and that ignorant **** must've just passed it on without giving a ****. david.Potts-CEO@Morrisonsplc .co.uk naming and shaming.”
“I was very shocked as a regular customer to be treated with such apathy from the customer service department, I am willing to share the complaint reference in the hope that this may be read by someone who has at least some customer focus Ref: Ref21238534 [ ref:_00DD0ojDb._5003z20J0I9:ref ].
I contacted Morrisons due to an issue with "more" points not being credited on several occasions. I had the standard auto reply stating that I would be contacted within 3 days. After 5 days I emailed back to ask why I had not been contacted, and had a very curt 3 line reply stating that it was my fault that they had not replied. I emailed back to the sender and also the C.E.O but after 7 days neither has bothered to reply and I have still not had an answer to my original issue.”

“Asda in Dover have seriously increased their takings from fed up customers at Morrisons, Dover store. Morrisons a joke now? Yes it is. Very much so. It always was very expensive but now....What can I say. Up to you. Save money and keep your sanity by moving elsewhere. Asda? Why now.”
“Spent nearly £120.00 on an online shop to be delivered between 7-8pm didn’t turn up till 10.30 pm with lots of items missing no call from the driver nothing! Customer service was utterly rubbish I’m returning there shopping tonight this is the second time they have done this! Will not ever shop here again!”
“Was in the Dover store today, this morning. I spent over 40 minutes for shopping which would normally have taken me about 15 minutes to complete. Most of this time was taken up trying to find things. Not only that but some signs pointing to such and such items were in fact wrong, making the experience even worse. I am sure there are some people somewhere who are responsible for this appalling fiasco and whoever they are should be sacked and get in staff who understand public needs. It is horrible, appalling, nasty and utterly thoughtless. I did not pass anyone in there who was not complaining. How do I know? Because I asked them. Long aisles? Too true. VERY LONG. Sadly there is not much alternative in Dover. A small Asda that's ok. An Aldi store that is nothing but a joke and a Lidl which is not much better. An M&S food store in St James Precinct, (which few people go to) with prices to make your eyes water (no wonder this company are not doing well) and an Iceland which seems empty most of the time, in the same St James. A very expensive Tesco at Whitfield although things are at least arranged in a customer friendly way. Morrisons, you should be ashamed.”
“I agree about the Dover store. It is crazy, and yes, I can see that it is so elderly unfriendly with it's silly long aisles designed for marathon walkers. We all are aware why they did it of course, but I think shoppers (those who stay that is) are not going to fall for the old walk by trick. This store has been steadily getting worse with all it's self service checkouts. I also agree about their "use by" dates on loads of fresh stuff. Flowers?Try Asda just a short walk away. Not as many but much fresher and cheaper.”
“re gardening department. why is it every time I visit this section the plants are dying or dead, so dry in the pot the soil has shrivelled away from the side , not only have I seen this in Letchworth but most morrisons I have visited. you must be losing profit through simple neglect of the plants, what's the point . I would never buy plants from morrisons .”
“Had a roast beef lunch today. Meat was so dry and cold and leathery. Roast pots were cold and soggy. Peas and carrots were cold and so boiled they had almost lost their pigment. Mash was oversalted, cold and disgusting. Yorkshire pud ok but cold. Gravey was thinner than maids water! It was £5.95 and i feel robbed. My advice is go to mcdonalds instead. Give morries dinners a miss.
Ps. Cappuccino was also cold.
Pps. Morries restaurant hinckley, leics.”
“Morrison in Grays Essex
On entering this store 3 guys (staff)were at security desk chatting, than at the self checkout one of my item never had barcode so ask the lady who worked there for help 3 times within 10 minute and everytime I spoke to her she kept telling me she was dealing with other customers, than they decided to change and staff, this took about 3-4 minutes as they have to log on to a cash till, and chat and complain to each other about how bad it was to work on the self service till even though I was listening to this, then once the original staff member decided to leave ( stef) the new staff member asked me if I was ok because she see me staring at her, when I explained what had been going on she wasn’t interested. So stef not only were you very rude to me and other customers you were also complaining about your job and company in front of customers shame on you”
“The Dover Kent store new layout is designed for serious walkers and is utterly and totally ridiculous. Completely elderly and less able unfriendly with those crazy long aisles. Whoever dreamed it up should be sacked or sent on a course re customer store friendliness. Bet they lose masses of customers, me included. Take a packed lunch if you intend to go there. I have never not ever been in any supermarket with such long aisles.”
