“Extremely poor customer service, dont care one bit about there customers. Sent my order in two shipments which is going to endure two customs fees. Haven't received the second shipment yet but the first shipment cost £75 at the door and I expect the same on the second shipment. They dont care less about wasting your money. Didn't careless about my situation and their only response is to send back all my goods for a refund. Please avoid Motea, wish I had looked at reviews first hand. So returned the faulty product they said they wouldn’t refund anything for returning product as they didn’t ask me to fair enough but I wasn’t waiting for the 30 days to pass before they eventually sorted something out.

“If I could give this company 0 stars I would.. absolutely pathetic, I ordered a full panner set for my motorbike, basically a top box and 2 panniers, a box for the left and a box for the right hand sides of the bike, however when they arrived I had to pay £194 import taxes etc, on top of this I received 2x left boxes and not a left and right set.
While I was starting the return of the wrong item for a refund I purchased a right hand box as i needed the set for a pre arranged upcoming road trip, this arrived and I had to again pay import taxes totalling £110 and upon opening my parcel motea had again sent me another left hand box, so now I have 3 left boxes and an over £300 wasted in import costs.
I am appalled by how this has been let happen, surely someone should be visually inspecting orders fully and checking items match up visually with what has been ordered prior to dispatch.”

“Customer service is appalling. I returned an order which they acknowledged receipt of but never sent a refund. I have now sent 12 emails over the last 7 weeks and provided all the evidence that they requested but still no refund.
Their response is always the same: providing proof of a refund for a previous order several weeks earlier (I have placed a total of 3 orders with Motea). Whenever they ask them to provide evidence of the refund that I am disputing, they have not been able to. Emails have now become rude and unprofessional. They have now said that they are not pursuing this any further and are ending communication... but I am still 900 Euros out of pocket.
As the company is based in Germany and the UK has left the EU, it is very difficult to pursue Motea through the small claims court. I also had to pay import VAT and duties on the items - something that I was expecting but it could have been included/calculated in the price to make the process smoother (but this is a different matter).
Conclusion: Avoid this company, especially if you are in the UK. The quality of the products is substandard hence the need to return items in the first place.”

Har to get in contact with them, only by email is possible and if you are lucky that will answer in one week, and say "delivery will happen today from us, and you will get an email with tracking number" and one week later, no email with tracking number, nothing

“Avoid at all costs. I ordered a seat in April 2022 and was advised it would arrive on 24 June 22. I decided to contact Motea yesterday to ask for a shipping tracking number, expecting the seat will be on its way and I was simply told that there's another delay of 1 month. 3 months for a simple seat and no updates whatsoever! Had I not contacted Motea to ask for a tracking number I am sure the company would not have notified me. Motea show that they have poor relationships with their suppliers and most importantly have no care for customers who have already paid and are patiently waiting for what they paid for a long time ago. I encourage everyone to avoid this company in hope that they realise the value of their customers and create processes that show this.”

“Even though you enter your reg to get compatible parts, nothing fits. I've had 2 large orders where parts dont fit and you always have to pay an extra import/duty charge. They look cheaper than their competitors but with the extra charges theyre not, plus the quality is comparable to ebay or aliexpress. Wont use them again.”

It was for side bags for Ducati Panigale. In the product info they say that VAT is included yet they still charged it from me (in EU/Finland). And all they can say is "invoice cannot be changed". So no refund for this..
Stay away from this Motea.com as they just rip you off.
