"I purchased the MoTow in March of 2024 and have used it quite a bit. I used it to bring my 2021 BMW F900 XR back and forth to the shop for new tires and other services. Then I purchased a 2011 Suzuki Bandit 1250 F. It towed the Bandit 2,200 miles from California to Louisiana with no problems. Now I carry my 2024 Kawasaki KLR650 around with no problems. I would definitely recommend the Moto to anyone instead of having to purchase a trailer. In California you can only tow a trailer 55 mph, you have to license it, register it and store it and upkeep. The MoTow I can tow whatever the speed limit is no problem. I also got better fuel mileage and it fits in a small corner of my garage. It is easy to handle and to disassemble and move it around by myself without needing any help. It is very well constructed and very durable. If you're going on a ride on your bike and not sure if you might run into problems, just put the MoTow in your receiver hitch and if you have an issue, someone can come with your vehicle and easily rescue you or one of your friends. The MoTow definitely gives me piece of mind. Ivan"

"Cannot recommend for heavy motorcycles. I read the instructions, watched all the videos, read the instructions again. Did multiple test rides in my local area before long trip, and struggled with the bike rocking left-right. I know the handlebar straps have to be tight, and the wheel clamps very tight against the tires (which were sized for my specific tires). I ended up using redundant straps, because any slight loss of tension = violent shaking. I added grip friction tape to the wheel chock due to wild rocking at freeway speeds if hit bump. Helped a little.\r\nI purchased the optional hitch stabilizer from Motow and everything was tight.\r\nThe bike was stable if the road was smooth - but still rocked badly with uneven freeway roads.\r\nBefore my 900 mile round trip I drained all the gas out of my tank to achieve 472 lb dry weight to see if that would help.\r\nDuring my journey there were 5 episodes of severe rocking that caused me to pull over, take out any slack that may have developed in my 4 straps to the bars, loosen the wheel clamps - straighten the bike back up, then tighten as much as physically possible (pushing into the tire at sides per instructions). I was searching for used trailers before returning home, that is how concerned I was. But I did make it back home in one piece.\r\nI will re-home this to someone with a very light dirt bike, or KTM 390 like in the videos and I am sure it will do OK."

The fixed one sits lower and has more opportunity to scrape.\r\n\r\nThis is made in Cincinnati and the owner, Jill, lives in Columbus. She was super nice brought the hitch personally to Columbus and delivered it to me. I saw these first at Garage Brewed Moto Show in Cincinnati and its seems to solve the issue for me.\r\n\r\nI originally got this for my 2018 Ducati Multistrada 950 and my 2014 Honda CB1100 as this comes in tire specific sizes. Luckily the CBR500R is also around the same size tires. You can buy different plates for different tire sizes. This is the last of their \"fixed height\" units. The have an 18 and a 24 depending on your hitch height.\r\n\r\nI really didnt want to store, pay or care for a trailer, so I went with this Motow rear tire motorcycle hitch carrier. Why the rear tire? Because it puts no wear and tear on your transmission and engine. The ones with the front wheel carrier put stress on you forks and lean like a MFER, you also have to remove the chain. This one stores in your trunk. The hitch pivots and rolls free on the front tire. Front tire wear is not a concern, I'm not putting thousands of miles on it and even if I was it has less than normal riding weight on the tire.\r\n\r\nFor dirt bikes, I put them in the truck or have a normal hitch carrier for light bikes. This is an easy solution to wanting to take my bike on longer boring trips or take it to the shop. My wife does not ride or like to manuver tralers, this will allow us to travel together and I still can take my bike.\r\n\r\nThis can handle a 600lb bike (Limited by tounge weight of vehicle).\r\n\r\n**WARNING**: While you can load and unload with one person. Please be aware that when you remove the tire straps during unloading the bike must be perfectly balanced and on level ground. If you are on the slightest of slopes to the left or right, the bike will fall over when you release the straps. I released my straps on my Ducati Multistrada on a very slight slope to the left, bike immediately when down on its side.
