“Shipping took way to long~ 15 days. no way shipping should take that long for domestic. E-commerce isn't in it's infancy anymore, it should be a quick and smooth process by now.”

“Everything was pretty good from shopping for a knife and the shipping time was pretty understandable. My only problem came in the delivery of the knife. The knife came in packaged very tightly but even then the very tip of the knife was slightly bent and curled in. Not sure what went wrong since it seemed like there was a lot of packaging material used but it still came in slightly messed up. Very unfortunate but still overall a great knife.”

Thank you for shopping with us and we are very sorry to hear that the tip of the knife was bent. We recommend contacting our staff right away if there is something wrong with the items you received. As long as the knife was not used or sharpened we can accept the knife as a return. In the case of damage that happened during shipment, please send photos of the damaged knife as well as the knife box and shipping box of where the knife poked through. If at some point the knife's tip becomes slightly bent from use, it can be corrected easily with a whetstone.

“I didn’t put the review for the product itself, because I didn’t liked it and returned it eventually, but overall customer service and customer satisfaction is so poor, the unclarity about the shipping price eventually make me to pay more than $30 for returning that, set aside the extra amount that I paid them to ship it to me in the first place! That’s awful and was my first and last time that I purchased something from them.”

“Always excellent dealing with MTC kitchen, they have high quality specialty products I'm looking for and sometimes can't find elsewhere, products always arrive in perfect condition, will definitely continue shopping with them. Also, regarding the takamura santoku, all the takamura r2 knives are exceptional, best value in extreme high performance knives you can get from what I can tell.”

“Your customer service is exemplary. Truly kind and accommodating in every way. I was extremely disappointed that my beautiful hangiri was damaged in shipping as it was packed tightly in a box no larger than itself with little to no protection from the rough handling it received. I am hesitant to reorder as I find it difficult to imagine receiving another in less than the pristine condition in which it was created.”
