“Customer service was responsive and efficient. Cutting board is awesome. However I am NOT a fan of SHOP-which is the shipping/fulfillment that is used for MTC. Products are great but there is no guarantee of ship date, it's vague with updates and products take WAY longer than any other items I have purchased online. I like MTC-I DO NOT like Shop.”

“Shopping experience was smooth. One of the two items shipped was wrong; this was exchanged for the correct item in relatively short order. Did take a little to happen due to the holiday season volume.”

“shipping is hella slow but it gets there eventually! if you are buying with a timeline in mind add about 2 weeks for shipping and it should be fine!”

“shipping wasn't immediate after placing an order so I had to write an email to customer support to ship my order after waiting for about a week. but someone promptly replied and the shipment came right away after that. wrapping was very good but a bit too good? too much plastic wasted but i guess most items are breakable materials so need to be careful. all in all and a pleasant experience.”

“MTC Kitchen offers an exceptional range of mid-to-high end Japanese products. Their online catalog makes for enjoyable shopping. Purchasing and paying works very well. Naturally, overseas shipping to the United States take just a bit of patience and time. I find that some products sell out fast: I could buy a few more items if they were still in stock.”

“The delivery for a knife that was in stock was slow as you waited the full delay to ship while I could have paid for expedited shipping I was not expecting a two + week difference”

“These plates are perfect. I had the smaller size and wanted to get the 11" ones and they are solid, well made and the design is unique. We love them! The only compliant I have is the over packaging. I get that they are plates and need to be well packaged but there was a horrific amount of bubble wrapping in that packaging - a lot of waste that I felt guilty about.”
