“I'd read bout the elite series im fenders online newsletter no was thoroughly impressed with all the features that had been brought in for the elite. The easy access truss rod adjuster is incredibly welcome, especially coming from a guy who plays a jaguar which has to have the entire neck removed to even make a quarter turn adjustment. The easy access heel and exaggerated body contours certainly improve the playability of what are usually quite boxy guitars in the case of the tele elite. Even though it may be a nod to the original elite series, I could see the rubberised knobs becoming grimey over time from use on stage where there is beer and sweat in abundance. However, overall the elite shows a great step forward in modernising classic designs to keep up with the likes of prs etc”
