Hi Martyn Thanks for leaving a review, from our records the vehicle you checked has not been written off by an insurer. We provide a category such as A, B, C, D, N or S for these type of records. “Used my car check on 2 vehicles I was interested in purchasing, the owners hadn't disclosed the fact that one had had 18 previous owners and the othe was a cat D in 2000. Having previously been caught some time ago by purchasing cat D's privately and not knowing until time to sell and loosing lot of money. I would always use a data check and at my car check prices it makes sence.”

“Have always used this service when buying, great peace of mind. Have never had to utilise the claim/guarantee element, so can’t comment on that. I was going to buy a bundle this time round but couldn’t find an expirey date quickly - would be useful to have this info somewhere easy to see.”

“Not happy at all charged £20 this is too much I was trying to pay via PayPal but unfortunately there was an issue with this site then paid with card took half hour for this report wouldn't recommend to anyone”

Hi Thanks for buying a basic check, the report you purchased has provided key data to help you be car confident in your next purchase, it's provided whether the vehicle has been imported, exported, written-off, Stolen (Insurance), Stolen (Police), Scrapped etc. This level of information is not available freely from the DVLA.
