“Did what is said on the tin - quick and efficient service”

“Excellent, easy and affordable service. We bought a package of 4 Platinum Checks when we bought a vehicle in the summer. The first check we did was reassuring, so I didn't use the other checks. 5 Months later, when my son bought a car, we used one of the remaining checks and discovered the vehicle he's put a deposit on was a Cat C Write-off. So glad I did this!”

“Good but the password set up is a bit over the top... Need to simplify as in you need a capital,letter,small,letters,numbers, and a character... Come on guys”

“I use MyCarCheck whenever I am considering buying a car especially in the minefield of online adverts. The free report gives a lot of background information on past MOT's, mileage patterns etc that is useful to analyse when deciding whether to go and see a car. The paid check is very reasonable in price and gives any history of outstanding HP / theft. I recommend.”

“A friend was woken at 6.00 in the morning by bailiffs trying to take his newly-purchased van. It was only because he could show them a vehicle check that they left - and he avoided paying for someone else's debts and losing the van. After that I always go to my car check before buying any vehicle. It gives me peace of mind - and protection against rude awakenings. I would always recommend their check before parting with your cash.”

“I wanted to print a full MOT history from their website, however, unfortunately this was not possible. When I called them, they downloaded the information from a publicly available site PDF'd it and sent it to me. In summary - customer services good / website poor so average rating of normal”

“The information came though instantly that was very good, how ever the car I put though I knew was written off but was 'salvaged' and that was nearly a year ago and it's been on the road since February and haven't updated it so it still says the cars a write off even though it's been assessed and has passed it's safety checks etc”

Good morning, I have checked the vehicle and the Cat loss on the vehicle will always be part of its history and therefore not be removed from the Vehicle data checks or from DVLA, we would recommend anyone buying a Cat loss vehicle needs to inform there insurance company about there loss as some insurance companies do not cover write off vehicles, I hope this has been off some help, Kind regards Richard
