“What a waste of money/time. paid £13.00 and all I got was what I already know. colour etc. No mileage check, valuation was poor and out of date. Paid £3.00 for a certificate and they send it by email for you to print of which then looks tacky. If your looking to use mycarcheck.com then I would go elsewhere for following reasons: price expensive poor value for money. Promises this/that but you get a piece of paper that's basically worthless if shown at a later date. All it says : we have no record of this/that e.g stolen or finance etc. remember you pay to ask these questions, not to get we have no record. TOTAL RIPOFF. At the end of the cert. ( valuation may differ for this vehicle) to cover there ar@e Never again mycarcheck....”

Hi Mr Barnes. We're very sorry you have had a bad experience and that you feel this way about our service. We do send a certificate in the post if you choose the option, the PDF by email is standard for all checks. In terms of missing data, we (and all of our competitors) rely on the same sources of information, such as the DVLA, police, insurance and finance companies. If the information is missing, it means our suppliers do not have the data, which likely means our competitors may not have it either. We will also take your comments as useful feedback for the development of our products. Thanks.

“Very happy with the help service I received from you guys. I have used you before and had good service so I used you again a few months ago and got the wrong company and used someone that sounded similar. Was not happy with their service or conditions as the bundle pack had to be used within 30 days!!... I don't buy 4 cars a month being a private enthusiast. Anyway I realised my mistake and have booked 4 more checks from you and still have 2 left in the bank so happy days!.. Cheers and keep up the good work.”

“Quick and easy to use. Only downside it says vehicle history, unfortunately it only shows the most recent and not the history in the silver option. Feel a little let down as History normally mean more than the last transaction.”

Hi Mandy, thanks for your feedback. SO that we can improve our product, it would be really useful to understand which particular elements of information you'd like a full history of, or those you would expect to see. in some instances, it is impossible to have a full history, as data suppliers only provide the most recent data, not all data. “I did a check on my car as I had a call from a collection agency saying my car has finance from a previous owner which I wasn't aware of neither was the lady I got the car from. The check show to finance is on this car. Is this 100% correct as I'm confused about the matter . If you could help me with some more information thanks Sarah . “The HPI Check provided the details which fortunately prevented me from buying a vehicle with an advertised mileage of 74k & supposed full BMWSH. The actual mileage logged on the HPI report was 111k at its last MOT. Without the report I would not have known. A very well spent £9.99, total saving £8000 SL Lincolnshire”
