“While the dog tag itself was as expected, the 3 chains they supplied were a nightmare. The clasps were of a very hard material and were totally closed up so that the chain could not be closed. It took a half hour of brute strength with a pair of pliers to close the chains. I tore up a finger nail in the process. Not worth the hassle.”

Hi William, thanks for your feedback. Our ballchains are military-spec, stainless steel, and MADE IN THE USA (as per the USA stamp on the clasp) by Ball Chain Manufacturing Corporation in New York. We guarantee the quality and would be pleased to send you replacements if all 3 of yours were defective. It does indeed take a bit of effort to pull the clasp closed, but that also keeps them from coming apart unexpectedly! We do offer a pre-assembly service for those with limited dexterity or arthritis.

“So I requested the tin box and did not know the dog tags would not have the little chain the order and also the tags were riveted to a plastic something or other which I had to tear apart to even be able to wear them in which process I broke one of the tags it never said that one it would be minus the little chain which is probably the hardest thing on the planet to find and second they weren't even wearable without breaking them so it would have been nice to know that they were going to come assembled like that I assumed by assemble you meant put them in the chain and then in the tin box no where is there any mention of the plastic part and being shorted the chain as well but they were good quality I wish I would have not had them raised letters and left them original they look fake to be honest that way and it kinda bothers me but o well I can't offord to re order them due to the fact that I'm on disability from the VA from a service Connected disability and can't afford them now so just would have been nice to know I was paying all that extra money for a little tin box and a plastic thing I have to break to wear”

Hi Taylor, thank you for your feedback and your military service. You ordered our DOGTAG PILLBOX product whereby the tags are indeed riveted to an acrylic case which allows you store medication and other small items. https://www.mydogtag.com/custom-dog-tags/medical/pillbox It appears you misunderstood this product when ordering, and would have preferred to order a standard set of tags with debossed (indented) font with a long and short chain. As a courtesy we will remake them for free.

“I’mNot sure if you want me to do this ???? I went on line to lookup Dog Tag dealers. Choose your site and made a call. 12/19/24 @ 11:09 a.m. Thursday, (16 minute call) talked to a Gentleman and made an order over the phone (said he can go ahead and do it over the phone anyway). I asked when will they get here, I was told Monday. Order Receipt # 1014-6693, amount $21.45 — my card was charged $15.00 + $00.45 for foreign currency fee. Total $15.45 12/26/24 @ 5:24 p.m. (1 minute call) Thursday I called and the same Gentleman answered, asked about the order and he hung up on me (I wasn’t happy). 12/27/24 @ 4:29 p.m. (3 minute call) Friday was told it’s on its way. 01/03/25 I receive an E-mail to respond to an issue and/or feedback 01/04/25 I decided to give you my thoughts, but you really don’t want to know what I really have to say, but I will not use you again nor will I recommend you to anyone. Oh yeah, it’s been 17 days now and I still don’t have my order……………”
