“To whom it may concern, I would love to write a review; however, I never received the Dog Tags. The Postal service here on Fort Irwin is less than reliable, even though the Postal tracker showed otherwise. According to the USPS tracking code, my dog tags were delivered to my mailbox on May 27th at 1:03 PM. I checked and found nothing. I talked to the Post Office, and they said it was delivered. Not sure if I want to take the same chance and order a second pair, especially if the USPS is involved.”

Hi Marshall, Thank you for your purchase and review. The tags you bought have debossed text which is historically accurate for that period of time. Debossed text on a military dog tag is difficult to read as it was originally meant to be used with an Addressograph Model 70. This was a handheld imprinter that made ink stamps of the information onto paper records. If you would like to have your tags re-made using the modern embossed font where the letters are raised from the metal rather than pushed into the tag please let us know by email at support@mydogtag.com. “it was April 22 1969 I was 17 and the US Navy handed me my first set of 'Dog Tags'. I was so proud I took every opportunity to take off my shirt so everyone could see my 'TAGS' then in April of 2022 Mark handed me my second set of 'TAGS' and that feeling of being proud to be part of something so big and wonderful as the United Stated military came rushing back Thanks Mark your friend for life Slim.................”
