“Positive: -they are metal and can bend - embossing depth even - same size as original tags - rolled edge and lettering on same side as original tags - got information right -arrived in timely manner Negative: - rolled edge is twice the width as original issued tags and is tamped flat - metal used feels like plastic (it isn't I checked) - lettering was a bit uneven in spacing, but not dramatically -lettering should be shifted left around the hole for the chain. (I did shift left, but it wasn't quite far enough) - if attempting to recreate old tags (navy) you must use advanced settings and even then it won't have enough characters. Neutral: - if AD navy and plan to wear in uniform do not wear the chain sent. Instruction states chain must have USN stamped on. Can purchase from NEX uniform shop as of 2022. - template itself is too concerned with whether or not silencers cover lettering -unknown if metal will melt or warp under heat -unknown if silencers will go gummy under moderate heat (for stations in hot climates)”

“I really like the product, however I noted that when I got the tags there were no spaces between the numbers in the serial number. It was printed as 2838776 instead of 283 87 76, I must have forgot to space the numbers properly. Other than that I really like the tags. Thanks, John J Clark”

“If you're a veteran like me and want a spare set of authentic dog-tags, this is the place. (I've even ordered a set for my dog and included his chip serial number on them!) In a world of increasing identity theft, I wanted a set that did not include my full social. In place of full social, just include your last 4 then your branch (No spaces). Example: 1234USMC. I hope this review helps other brothers and sisters that wear our nation's cloth.”

“My brother Dave tracked down his birth father US Marine CPL Wes Patterson who was killed by a sniper in Viet Nam in 1966 at the age of 20. Dave was his only child, and Wes never knew about him. In January Dave had a stroke and can't use his left side. Our Dad, the father who raised him, passed in 2001. Dave needs encouragement very much right now and has talked a lot about his birth father and the father we share. I am putting together a memory box for Dave with a rubbing from The Wall of Wes's name and a memorial bracelet. There were certain things we wanted on it that couldn't be accommodated any other way. So I was really pleased to come across your site and have the help of an online assistant. The tags arrived and they are perfect. This is going to be a gift Dave can wear close to his heart. Hi Jeremy, We NEVER see or have access to your credit card information. It is collected securely with encryption by stripe.com (one of the USA's biggest and most trusted payment processors) directly on their secure webserver. Your credit card information NEVER goes through the mydogtag.com web server. I am confident that is your credit card was compromised it was not through us.

“These tags were purchased for a shadow box of a retired member of the USAF. They are an exact duplicate issued during his time in service. System was easy to use; tags were reasonably priced; and delivered right on time. Thank you...!”
