“I am a bit disappointed with the quality. I expected it to be better quality and not so flimsy. I could bend the dog tag in half. The Marine Corps pendent is also of cheap material.I would not refer anyone to this company.”

Hi Victoria, Thank you for your feedback. Depending on when and where your original tags were issued there can be differences in the thickness of the tags and the exact metallurgy of the 304 stainless used. Our tags are the exact same as currently issued by the US military. To better serve our veterans we are working with manufacturers to have tags custom made for us using thicker metal and expect to offer this to our customers in 2024. “This company is awesome. I think I've ordered dog tags from them at least four separate times now and every time the order arrives perfect and in a timely fashion. And the prices are quite reasonable, in my opinion. I've already begun recommending My Dog Tag to my buddies in the USN who need regulation tags made. Keep up the great work!”

“Not pleased - the tags are SOLD showing one side is the red medical icon, and YET showed up as a smaller sticker? I have several health challenges and would only HOPE a medic actually notices.”

Hi Charles, Thanks for your feedback. The red caduceus medical icon is indeed offered as an add-on dogtag shaped sticker that is applied to the back of a dogtag. This essentially allows you to turn any dogtag into a medical tag. Could you please provide more details about what you were expecting?

“These are fantastic!! My wife’s uncle was a medic during the Korean War. He was killed in 1950 having never married, so we wanted to honor his memory so we named our son after him. I wanted a set of tags with his information and name as he would have been issued, and I was NOT disappointed!! Thank you so much!!”
