“I wanted to get a medical alert to wear because I have diabetes. I didn't want a bracelet. Most of the advertised ones are expensive. My Dog Tag was a great solution. Lots of space for medical information. My tags are comfortable, quiet, and don't show through my shirt. I was concerned that the large red medical tag would be sharp and poke me, but not at all. Comfortable to sleep with. I move around a lot at night and I don't even feel it. Very affordable. I recommend my Dog Tag!”

“Retired in 1994, lost EVERYTHING to an ex who kept ALL my military stuff. My current wife is so so pro military that she said she wished she could get all my gear back, so she got these dog tags for me as a start. I love them!!!!!!!”

“My order was purchased and received on time. Your customer service staff were good HOWEVER I had 2 of your Sales or customer service rep's advise me that they would send me 6 silencers at NO additional cost (4/black and 2/camos) It has been over 3 weeks and I still have NOT RECEIVED THEM. Please advise Thanks”

“MDT is a great company, the service and willingness to fix the mistakes I made, I was given a refund on a set that I had made a mistake on. super nice guy, and very quick to respond. they have many designs that are available as well. but I went the classic military issue style as I had lost my tags in a move a few years ago. now I wear them proudly as a remembrance of my time serving in the military. i got compliments for my already, its a shame how many people lose their first issued tags..they mean a lot to me and i can say anything bad about MyDogTag.com!!!! great work and fast shipping....”

“Not close to the original dog tags from 1963 through 1968 very thin. The notched area has a sharp edge on both dog tags. Cheap replica. Definitely would not recommend it for anyone to purchase.”

Hi Harry, Thank you for your feedback. We have reached out to you directly to look into the issue with the edge. The notched tags that your ordered have not been made for the military since 1967. Military specifications on dog tags have reduced the thickness of them over the years, so modern (no notch) tags are thinner than some of the older tags. This year we worked with a manufacturer to have notched tags specially made for us. These tags are significantly thicker than those sold by other dog tag sellers. “I am a bit disappointed with the quality. I expected it to be better quality and not so flimsy. I could bend the dog tag in half. The Marine Corps pendent is also of cheap material.I would not refer anyone to this company.”

Hi Victoria, Thank you for your feedback. Depending on when and where your original tags were issued there can be differences in the thickness of the tags and the exact metallurgy of the 304 stainless used. Our tags are the exact same as currently issued by the US military. To better serve our veterans we are working with manufacturers to have tags custom made for us using thicker metal and expect to offer this to our customers in 2024.
