“Cheap and flimsy. Hard to read.”

Hi Larry, Our Dogtags are made in the USA of military spec 304 stainless steel and are designed to be thin enough to be legibly stamped. You chose the 60s era DEBOSS print option which is indeed harder to read than the modern EMBOSS option, however we offer it for those seeking authenticity. If you rub black shoe polish into the depressions of the letters (a service that we offer) it will make it easier to read. https://www.mydogtag.com/blog/debossed-darkened-letter-dog-tags. May I suggest that you order dogtags from another source so that you can compare them with ours.

“I am very happy with the assistance I received when I sent a picture of my old dog tags and they were able to reproduce the new ones just like my old ones. The only reason I don't give 5 stars it's something very minor. I was missing the small chain for my dog tags when I got my order, but they were happy to send me a replacement, I haven't received it yet but it's on the way I been told.”

“Not very pleased with quality of material used.Metal looked and felt like a tin can. Chain was also made of very flimsy material. Was not expecting same quality as original, but a little better tan this.”
