“I found one of my father’s dog tags in my mother’s belongings after she passed recently. I wanted reproductions for my brother and children. These were so easy to order and shipped fast. I didn’t think I would have them in time for the memorial service, but arrived the day of. Ordered on Tuesday, received on Friday. They are a perfect match too. Highly recommend.”

“I lost my dog tags years ago. I wasn't really worried about it. However, my father, who was an airforce vet passed away and my oldest son joined the Marines at around the same time. I spent so much time trying to get his information I decided I wanted to make sure my family has all my stuff. It was a quick and easy purchase. You guys are awesome. Thank you.”

“Not what I expected or advertised. These tags are very thin and bend easily. My real tags are actually solid and don’t feel fake around my neck. Don’t recommend if you’re a service member.”

Hi Jesus, Thank you for your review and for letting us know. Our matte dog tags are made in the US to the current US Military specifications. Over time the military has reduced the thickness of tags from 0.025" during WW2 down to the current 0.016" +/- 0.001". While these numbers are small they do make a noticeable difference in the thickness of the tags. Depending on when and where your original issue tags were made they could be thicker than the current issue. As all suppliers make their stock to the current specifications we are working on having thicker stock tags custom-made to better serve our veteran customers. Your order also included shiny tags which are much brighter and more reflective than original tags are. Thank you for your military service.

“I have my recreational crab trap licence in Florida. Stone and blue crab. I purchased the tags that are the size of a credit card because they allowed me to put both of my license numbers, address, name, and phone, and with 2 extra for anything else I wanted to put on there. Very nice embossed letter and clear and easy to read. Plus I'm pretty sure it's stainless steel so I never gotta worry about rust in the salt water.”
