“I will update this in a year when I get my final result, but 3 months in and I'm starting to see growth of the first new hairs coming through, which is exactly what I was told to expect, so everything is on track. The surgery day itself ran remarkably well, with the doctor friendly and attentive, and the 2 girls that did the graft removal both really chatty, overall a nice environment with minimal discomfort, and the procedure lasted around 6 hours for my 3000 grafts. Whenever I go back to Daniel my consultant who arranged everything to ask a question I get a speedy response on whatsapp. Massive thanks to everyone involved, top notch service.”

“This is my 2nd transplant after having one in Turkey around 5 years ago, and it was a much easier experience having it in London, in and out same day, and all finished by around 4pm and I could understand the surgeon this time which made a huge difference! He explained all the ins and outs of the surgery and why it was happening, and I felt I was in good hands all day. Very pleased I chose this clinic they have been wonderful to deal with throughout.”

“Great service from this place start to finish, the day went really fast, other than 5 mins on the anaesthetic injections the day was totally pain-free, and the aftercare has been top-notch since my procedure. I recommend this place to anyone thinking of a transplant”

“My experience of this clinic started with a video consultation with Dan, who has kept in contact through the entire process, and on the day the staff were friendly and the place felt very upmarket. The Doctor designed my hairline with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted as I was looking for a more squared-off look to suit my face shape better, we discussed how it might change as I aged and settled on the perfect style to suit me. Then the team got to work and all did a great job. It's been a month and they've been checking in with me regularly and I'm going to take a monthly progress picture to highlight my journey, I'm confident it's going to be a great result, so pleased I decided to do this!”

“It's been 10 years since I started to notice losing my hair and I finally got the courage to do something about it, I researched a few clinics and had several that were clearly just sales based, and the My Hair clinic was the first place that seemed more concerned about getting me the best result, even offering a full guarantee. Daniel my trichologist spent what must have been hours with me going into every detail and suggesting non surgical options, but the surgery seemed like the best option for me so I went for it with 3000 hair grafts the suggested amount. The surgery day itself seemed to fly by, with the full team there making sure I was comfortable. My technicians chatted away with me the whole time which was nice, and before I knew it was 4pm and I was done. It's been a couple of months since my procedure, everything healed up beautifully, there's no sign I would ever have had a transplant and I'm already seeing some results, and I'm impatient to see the final result after a year. I would recommend anyone thinking about it to get it done, I've felt so much better in myself since having this surgery.”

“I'm now about 6 weeks post surgery and I can say everything has been brilliant from start to finish. The whole team at the clinic from Daniel who did my consultation to the surgeon who explained everything so well and put me at ease, and the 2 technicians who looked after me the whole day. Considering the price compared to some quotes I had from other clinics I was expecting a bargain service but I was very pleasantly surprised. Brilliant service.”

“My transplant surgery went faultlessly, the team at the clinic did a great job taking care of me on the day, and have been in touch with aftercare advice several times. The transplanted hair is growing through nicely, it's early days but it's all looking great so far. Thank you to the surgeon and the nurses for doing such a good job with me, 5 star clinic!”

“I was really impressed by the service of the clinic, I moved my booking last minute and they were really accommodating. All the staff were helpful and I have spoken to the surgeon a few times since my procedure a month ago. It's all healed nicely and I've recommended them to a few friends already.”

“As I am rather needle-phobic I was quite nervous before I had my transplant at the My Hair clinic as I'd heard it would be painful, but the surgeon spent a lot of time calming me down and reassuring me, and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. the anaesthetic stang a little bit but that was only for 2 minutes and the rest of the d ay was pain free. I'm so pleased to have gone through with it, and my hair will be looking much better in time for my wedding next summer”

“The surgery day at the My Hair clinic was much less stressful than I expected it to be, I was looked after all day, from making sure I was comfortable and in no pain, to getting me lunch. I have been in contact regularly since, the doctor has spoken to me several times to answer any queries and made sure I'm okay. very pleased with the results so far!”

“Very friendly and knowledgeable staff at the My Hair clinic from Daniel the Trichologist who did my consultation on the video call, through to the surgeon who explained everything so simply and the 2 nurses who looked after me all day and kept chatting to me the whole time - it made the day fly by. Aftercare has been good and they've been fast to answer any of my queries. if you want a good hair transplant clinic in Manchester this place is the best.”

“My day at the My Hair clinic started around 8am, I was welcomed by the surgeon who assessed me and found exactly what I had been informed by the Trichologist who did my original video consultation back in September, and 3000 grafts was agreed. The nurses then shaved the back of my head and I had the anaesthetic injections, they do sting a bit but only take 5 minutes, and a few minutes after that my head was completely numb. The nurses extracted the grafts from the back of my head which took a couple of hours, and then the surgeon made all the little grooves for the new hairs to go into. By this point it was 1pm and we stopped for lunch for half an hour and they kindly got my food order in for me. the final part was the doctor and nurses planting the new hairs in my head which was completely pain free, and the day finished at around 4.30pm. It's been just over a month now, the donor area on the back of my head as a little itchy and sore for a couple of weeks which I was warned would be the case, all the scabs came off after 2 weeks and it's all healed nicely with no sign of a transplant other than the new little hairs growing through. Overall very pleased so far, cant wait for the final result!”

“My surgery with the May Hair clinic was a very relaxing experience, after initially being a little worried the day actually went in a really straightforward manner, the nurses were lovely and with me all day, and the surgeon explained the process thoroughly. I thought I might be sore afterwards but it has been surprisingly pain free and I was able to work from home easily during the recovery time afterwards. The new hairs are now starting to grow through after a couple of months, I'm really happy with my new hairline shape, and I'm confident it will be a good result, thanks to all involved at the clinic for looking after me so well.”

“I have Afro-Caribbean hair, and after finding out that it's a lot more difficult to transplant I spent a lot of time researching the best clinics for this as I wanted an Afro specialist surgeon. I'm happy to say I definitely chose the right clinic with the My Hair UK team. The service was exceptional start to finish - beforehand with the consultation Daniel was great, the nurses on the day and the aftercare have all been excellent.”

“Very glad I picked this clinic, the Surgeon spent ages on the day calming me down as I was a bit nervous beforehand, and the nurses were so friendly chatting to me while they worked on my hair. “After one of my friends had such great results from this place I decided to try the My Hair clinic myself. I'd done a fair bit of research into the surgeons and their reputation seemed really solid. The day itself and the procedure were nowhere near as uncomfortable as I had read they could be on some forums, it felt more like a long dentist visit than a complicated hospital trip and the staff even got me lunch in. It's about a month since the operation and everything has healed up beautifully and I'm just starting to see the first hairs come through. I'm now looking forward to the summer for the first time in a long time, thanks to all the staff at the clinic who looked after me so well.”
