The Sleep Easy Blend contains the following herbs: Damiana, Skullcap and Passionflower, which are all beautifully calming and relaxing herbs and do not contain caffeine or any stimulating constituents. There are always exceptions to the rule however and sometimes in rare cases an individual will respond very differently to a herb.
Valerian is one such example. The majority of people would find that Valerian is very sedative, and great to have before bed. There is a very small percentage of people that have the complete opposite reaction to a strongly sedative herb, and instead, find it is very stimulating.
