“I’ve been ordering weekly now for about three months and really enjoying each meal. They are well balanced, high in protein and the majority are also low enough in sodium that it doesn’t limit my selection. Plus, they’re delicious.”
“Although hesitant to enter into a subscription based service metabolic meals has provided excellent meals. They always gives multiple reminders to choose your next weeks meals and are very reasonably priced.”
“The food from Metabolic Meals is fresh and flavorful. Their typical portions are enough quantity if you want to have a sensible meal of 400-550 calories. They also offer a few options each week that have “more protein”, meaning you can choose larger portions with 550-750 calories for your current weight maintenance. But if you’re dieting to lose weight then it’s best to stick to the normal size meals.
Ordering is very easy. The delivery is excellent- always on time - early in the morning. The nutritional labeling is clear and concise.
Improvements I have reported to them and I am waiting for are:
- The ability to make self-reminder notes in previously-ordered items, or at least a thumbs up/ thumbs down feature so we can remember to repeat an item or not.
- A more user-friendly plastic seal because their current glue is impossible to remove by pulling, so we have to cut the plastic around the entire plate border with a sharp knife and it’s not easy. (Other non-frozen food delivery companies have containers sealed with easy-to-pull, instant removal of their plastic barrier).
- A little more variety would be nice if possible. Their roasted potatoes are delicious, but they appear on a large percentage of the meals. I feel like there’s not enough variety of stuff.
All things considered, our experience with MM has been quite pleasant and their customer service is wonderful. They truly care for their clients for sure. That’s why I’m giving 5 stars even though I mentioned some small details for improvement.”

“I have been using this meal delivery for about a year. It is because I have celiac and can not eat gluten. These meals are really really good! The only draw back is that some of them are not very filling for the cost. However, they are perfect for me and I love them enough to keep ordering them. There were a few hiccups with delivery 2 times over the year and customer service gave me a credit for the loss both times. I do reccomend these meals because they are very good! Average is 13 dollars per meal.”
