“I’ve used this service twice now. On both occasions. The work has been first rate. The first one, I went back to for a second job. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to either of them again, or recommend them. They know who they are.”

“The website is simple and effective to use. Specify exact plan details and final finished expectations. Break down work in to manageable days with number of hours clearly expected and understood at preferably a fixed price to fully complete the works in hand. Make sure works provider tackles all the difficult parts of the works first before they run out of time. Be weary of being falsely led by such as building jargon due to incompetence and don’t compromise on standards and quality expected as it can be costly to address later. Evidence of the correct tools for the job and the skills to go with it is essential to avoid botch ups. Agree payment and a set expected timeframe in advance.”

“This was made very easy for me. I had lots of enquires without making loads of phone. I chose 2 out of the people that replied to get a quote from. Both were very good. Came on time and had a quote back to.me in a couple of days. Excepted the quote from one.”

“I will definitely be using My Builder again. I had so many plumbers respond, it was amazing. The plumber I selected was straightforward and did what he promised. He got the boiler going for us on the same call-out.”

“MyBuilder Does Not Vet Tradesmen I am £1200 of poctket they do not help you many of them are Rogue Traders. Platinum Plastering and Now Platinum Construction Of Reading Uk Watch out for them. Richard Best and Noel And Ben Gibson Are Dangerous not qualified Mybuilder Cost me”

“Useless. Have been waiting since mid February for debris to be removed. No response from so called builder nor receipt for cash paid or guarantee for work ( very poor standard) as promised. Have informed trading standards as would hate for anyone else to ripped off by cowboys. AVOID My builder”

“The Tradesmen on there aren’t vetted and neither are the leads! Many of the tradesmen on there are desperate to try anything they can get! for example (supposedly) qualified tilers and plumbers putting their name forward to go and fit a cat flap or build some flat packed furniture????? and the customers are often not even genuine, you pay for a lead and it turns out to be a complete waste of time and money as they were only thinking about it, or they just wanted to get an idea of cost etc etc? They should charge customers to put their jobs on the site, that way, all the painful time and money wasters will be eradicated.”
