“Not giving 5 stars as I think there’s still room for refining the portions to eliminate waste. I have a cupboard full on sachets as I just don’t use them all. Also please please pleeeeease update the recipe cards to what type of vinegar is required in the dish. Last nights dinner just said vinegar. That could be balsamic, white wine or red wine, white or malt, rice etc etc. I ended up using nothing as I clearly had no idea..... I could be missing out on flavour which is a shame. Hope this gets taken into account for future ☺️”

“We have enjoyed the freshness and quality of protein and veggies in our Fresh Start plan. We particularly love the fish - we haven't really cooked a lot of fresh fish before and we have loved every fish recipe.”

“It's good to be creating new, interesting meals for the family knowing that all the ingredients are present. We are trying to eat less meat so the vegetarian meal bag is giving us ideas about how to do this going forward. At times the recipes get a bit repetitive, but so does my cooking.”

“It has been good to have new flavours and fresh meals in the house without having to think about it. The herbs seem to often get mixed up and the frozens are never frozen but otherwise it has been worth the money. Would be good to see the week we missed due to the south island flooding!”

“I switched to fresh start for this week and every meal has meat in it. And three of them heavy red meat. No fish at all. As one person I only have two options for my food bag. However my preference is to eat far less red meat if possible. Am considering going to change back.”

“The plant-based recipes I’ve received with My Plant Based Bag (4 nights for 2) are great. I’m enjoying fresh ideas and food, and enjoying coming home to cook again. As a single person household, the portions mean I have enough for lunch leftovers (frequently covered by co-workers), too, and often stretch beyond four days. The meals are well-balanced and satisfying, and nutritious.”

“It's convienent, but there are some repeat and/or boring recipe types in there. It's quite annoying to pay all that money only for one of the recipes to be Steak, Chips and Salad type meal each week - not very inspiring!”

“Both my husband and I enjoy cooking and have always been adventurous with flavors. But when I needed to have surgery we thought my food bag would help simplify meal time. I have to say it has done more than that..... not only has our 13 year old suddenly taken an interest in cooking (she prepares the my food bag meals alone....by choice). She has also gone from a fussy, barely eating vegetable teenager to a healthy foodie wanting cook books for Christmas and asking for more asparagus!! A vegetable she would never have had sitting on her plate before never mind eaten!!! Thank you my food bag you have freed up my evening routine, inspired my daughter to eat and cook healthy, whilst providing us with great gluten free options. What was initially going to be a temporarily solution has turned into a permanent fixture in our week.”

“Oh the joy of not having to think about what's for dinner and the pleasure of cooking (and eating) delicious healthy meals each night. The produce is always very fresh and delivery time is consistent. Only suggestion would be a little less packaging and perhaps this could be achieved by deeming a few more things as staples (such as rice, nuts, sesame seeds etc). Overall extremely happy with my Fresh Start bags.”
