“We love Bargain Box! All the meals are well received by our family and we enjoy the yummy extra's that seem to turn up every few weeks :) Takes the hassle out of "whats for dinner!?" :)”

“The recipes are always really good, it's convenient and relatively easy, but the listed times can be a bit off unless you're ridiculously fast at chopping (and sometimes there can be a lot of prep), and we have had one or two delivery issues with things not being in the box. It's good value for money, and our one year old usually loves the meals, which is not easy to achieve.”

“Not all meals are outstanding but none are ever terrible, some are great and I want to make again. Lots of variations of the same thing but that is fine. Instructions aren't always in the best order but they have listened to reviews people have given them and made changes. Have had one complaint and it was dealt with immediately and to a high level. It is exactly as advertised and works really well for us most weeks because a lot of the meals are toddler appropriate.”

“Really good have liked a majority of the meals. There aren’t too many lamb dishes which is good as I don’t like lamb. Kids have eaten most of the meals too which is good”

“I love the variety of vegetables included in each meal. The sauces are also always simple but so tasty. There is a great variety and the quality of meat is fantastic. I do usually need to cut the salad serving down pretty significantly for my household. We’re otherwise thrilled with the service.”

“My Food Bag has made dinners massively easier for us! I love not having to think up something to cook everyday. I really like the healthiness of the meals - lots of veggies is great. Plus the spices, dressings and aiolis are going down a treat with everyone. The food is fresh and high quality which I really value. What could be better? We would like to be able to avoid lamb permanently, but that's not an option online. I would like to have more vegetarian options to swap into. I would like some different fish varieties than just Hoki. I would like to know if the pork is free farmed before I choose it. Overall I am happy with MFB but these things would make me happier.”

“Always exceptional quality food. Love the variety, and the flavours are always delicious. Recipes are easy to follow and makes cooking so much more enjoyable, I normally hate cooking but when I receive my food bag it's like christmas and get so excited! Highly recommend to anyone.”

“I am doing the Fresh Start program. I never really believed it would work but it has. I have lost 9 kilo's in 10 weeks. The food has been delicious. I'm eating things I've never tried before and I'm never hungry. I have always received my deliveries on time and have never had anything missing. Thank you so much!! This has made me feel so much better about myself.”

“We are recent empty nesters and this has changed our lives. We have gone from 10 trusted dishes to an endless range of meals that we always state “I would be happy to have paid $30:00 for that a restaurant”. We love the quality, less supermarket time, less waste and new cooking techniques and tastes. We also realise be both love cooking. We look forward to coming home and cooking.”

“Easy and tasty meals are key. Over 10 weeks every meal has been different and, while they take about the same amount of time, are much more inventive than my classic go tos. Would be a 5 star rating but every once in a while there’s been a few mix ups with what makes it into the box (once they forgot the beef!) but the customer care team are super on to it, and sort it out if something goes wrong”

“We love the MFB vegetarian. Our 2 kids (8, 10) love the flavoursome dishes. TBH we tried the express regular MFB a couple of years ago and thought the balance between meat and veg was too meaty. Vego is brilliant, delicious, quick and easy to prepare (often quicker than it says), healthy, and generous portion size. Love it! We can eat meat if we feel like it in the weekend, and small portions for lunches. This suits us brilliantly.”
