“The menus and meals are so incredibly convenient. The food is almost always fresh and NZ produce. But if there is something missing (a systems/quality control issue?), do not expect to be compensated appropriately for your time, fuel and re purchase after the time spent communicating the missing item(s). This is the most frustrating part for me. However, due to convenience I continue.”

“I quite highly rate My Food Bag. The meals are almost always delicious. The variety and choice is outstanding. The convenience of it is great. If I’ve ever had an issue, their customer services team has been incredibly quick to solve it”

“We’ve tried 3 different food box companies now & My Food Bag is definitely the better option! The food is fresh, the recipes are healthy & very tasty & easy to follow & a variety of meats & vegetables for good nutrition. The only negative would be sometimes they’re a bit light on the meat, especially when you have 3 adult males to feed! But overall it’s awesome 😃”

“We are enjoying all the different flavours and the really good variety of vegetables. For dietary reasons, I would like it if all your spice mixes did not include dried onion and garlic powder. Perhaps the onion and garlic powder could be supplied separately or low fodmap onion and garlic could be used instead.”

“Love Bargain Box. Makes cooking dinner so much easier. I get 5 meals for 4 nights which works perfectly for me and my partner as it means we get a good lunch to take to work as well. Recipes are great too, especially for someone like myself with limited cooking experience.”

“We love My Food Bag. It always turns up on time and is well packaged. The ingredients are always fresh and there’s never any ingredients missing. The meals are so easy to make yet seem like restaurant quality. There’s lots of choice when picking the meals for the week and we love not having the stress of dealing with supermarkets and trying to decide what to cook for dinner!”

“We were customers of HelloFresh for a long time and moved to My Food Bag when HF kept getting our orders wrong. We like the fact that there is more variety in MFB - but the winning factor was that when you forget to order, MFB sends you choices similar to previous ones. HF sends you the reject recipes - and often they are inedible from our perspectives. The only thing about MFB is there is often way too much by way of vege portions as opposed to protein, and the sauces are almost always too much. We leave them out of the recipe. Cheers”

“I have been doing Fresh Start for about 8 weeks now. We love the variety of the dishes available. The freshness and quality of the food is fantastic. The meals are easy to prepare are good portion sizes and are good value for money.”

“MFB is an excellent option for a busy family who still wants to eat well. The produce is fresh and the recipes simple and delicious. Being able to choose from the menu allows us as a family the freedom to select dishes the children will enjoy too.”
