“My family of four (two teenage boys) love getting the fresh start box. They choose which meal we have and help prepare it sometimes too! They are not fussy eaters so the healthy variety we get in this box works so well and introduces them to even more flavours - we love it! Just keep working on packaging”

“I really enjoy my food bag but there are a few issues. I order the plant based bag for 4x people and there is an issue almost every week... the issue we had this week was that the courgette and cucumber got squashed against the tins and so had deep round cuts in them. Also, the broccoli was smaller than the size of my hand and in no way near enough for four hungry vegans so i went out and bought 3x more. The issues with the herbs are getting better, but the basil doesn't last longer than a day or two - i cook those dishes first. I don't like to be the customer that calls up complaining all the time so I try not to, only when its really bad - like the week i got the antipesto packets that broke and leaked all the way through the box and all over the other produce. That was annoying because you could clearly see there was a leak when the package was delivered. There have been more hits than misses with the recipes though. I'm new to plant based cooking and have found them really helpful and insightful. The veg weekly is also really informative. I've also noticed that the more healthy looking the meal the more tasty it is! Apart from the mushroom courgette pizza and burger burger... that was life changing guys! That broccoli... I would really like to see some ready made plant based options? I'm planning a pregnancy this year and that would be awesome :) All the best x Anna”

“2weeks of veggies is not working well so far. The herbs aren’t fresh when they arrive. The first delivery was missing some ingredients. This second delivery was a huge nasty shock when we opened the rice to see weevils through the rice. We had never seen them before. Yuck yuck yuck. So disappointing”

“I love all the meals and recipes so far! Have never had a meal that I didn’t like and it’s great value for money. Makes it easy and stops us from getting so many takeouts. The only thing that bothers me a little is the amount of single use plastic. Mainly with the ice bags I don’t know what to do with them after so have a freezer full of ice bags as can’t bear to put them in trash!”

“Unbelievable! The meals are varied, healthy, huge quantities giving us leftovers for lunch the following day-but the best part is that my better half is doing the cooking and really enjoying the challenge and outcome of his effort. Not time consuming to prepare and does not need any input as the instructions are so clear. Would advise any family who has to put the usual cook on hold for health reasons to try My Food Bag, am sure they will find it hard to revert back .”

“I just love the recipes, they are full of flavour and so easy to prepare. The convenience of knowing what you’re having for dinner without that “what shall we have tonight” feeling is awesome. We have been ordering the My Veggie, I thought my husband would be a little skeptical about it but he has not been disappointed at all. I’m actually enjoying cooking again, having something new and delicious every night. Thank you”

“A really great service. We chose the gourmet for 2 for 4 nights and the selection and variety of truly well crafted and thoughtful seasonal dishes never fails to delight. The fish and meat are always a premium choice or cut. There is great thought put into the seasonal selection of produce. Being the gourmet (foodie ) option there is always a really tasty sauce included with the meal. Great value, and choice.”
