“I was sceptical about my food bag, but thought we would give it a trial. We are so pleased we did, it has changed our approach to trying different styles and cuisines, which have been varied and great. Not 9nly that it has provided a great family opportunity to do something together, my daughter and I have become quite the kitchen duo.”

“We started with My Food Bag at the beginning of the year as a way to move into a more plant based diet, what a Godsend over lock down! We continue to enjoy fantastic meals that we would never have dreamed of and have particularly enjoyed the variety. I have also put aside my aversion of eggplant and tofu, turns out I was cooking it wrong all this time. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting a good start to plant based eating.”

“At first my partner was skeptical but after receiving our first bag he was converted. It takes all the inconvenience out of cooking dinner and keeps you eating fresh, healthy and delicious. Beforehand I didn’t do the cooking as I wasn’t the best and didn’t enjoy it, now I cook every night. We love my food bag!”

“We restarted My Food Bag during lockdown and are so glad we did. It has made life a lot easier during an otherwise stressful time. Not having to think of what to make and go to the supermarket regularly was great. The produce is exceptional and the meals (Classic Food Bag) have been very enjoyable and have improved since when we previously got MFB a few years ago!”

“Have tried classic, gourmet and fresh start and they’re all great but fresh start is our fav. I love that each night i get a wee thrill from cooking something different that I haven’t had to plan and shop for. The other great thing is that my fussy husband - “not too many veges for me and eww no what on earth is bulgur wheat” is now woofing everything down and doing a “review” each night. Loving it and loving not having to go to the supermarket.”

“We love foodbag! So easy and delicious. We are a couple and we do the vege 4 person 3 night so we cook one night and then have leftovers the next night. No grocery shopping and only cooking half of the week is perfecto. Constantly surprised by the ease and taste of the recipes and always happy with the amount of halloumi in the vege bag 😍 Just wish there was a vege + fish option!”

“We started getting my food bag over lockdown and it became a big excitement ech week to open it up and see what was inside. The kids loved the special easter and anzac day extra goodies. My husbnd has actually started doing most of the cooking bacause he enjoys using the recipes. It is awesome.”

“Pros: Varied menu - have been getting it for 10 weeks now and nothing seems to have doubled up. We tend to get my classic 5 nights for 4 and it’s feeding 3 adults and 2 kids reasonably well (albeit with one vegetarian so she meat is just for 4)! My favourite part is that my 13yr daughter has made most of the dinners as they are straightforward recipes to follow and usually around the 30min prep time She’ll have some good ideas for mess under her belt when she leaves home! We tried the fresh start box for a couple of weeks but the boys found it a bit too heathy...Sigh. The plant based box was lovely too. Overall it’s been a massive time saver and general convenience for 3 full time adults which I think is worth the cost. I haven’t tried any other company so can’t comment on competitors.”

“Who needs international travel? Thanks to My Food Bag, we were transported to the streets of the Sichuan Provence with Bang Bang chicken. Full of punchy flavours with a crisp, refreshing Asian slaw on the side.”
