“I love the convenience of My Food Bag being delivered to your door with everything you need and great instructions. The recipes are amazing and inspiring. I am doing the Fresh Start challenge and not only am I losing weight but feeling so much better at the same time. I would recommend My Food Bag to anyone wanting to reignite their love of cooking.”

“It is convenient but the recipes are not always appealing - probably harder as we are recently vegetarian and the kids still have a few veges they don’t like. I like that you can skip weeks so easily, that way I just get it when I like the look of the recipes, about one week a month.”

“Always nice food although over time can be a little repetitive. Plenty of it - normally leftovers for some lunches through the week. Good quality meat and veg and nice to now have fish as well.”

“My Food Bag is super convenient and I enjoyed trying new meals I wouldn’t have tried to cook otherwise. I did find the menus variable - from great to a bit bland. More choice would be great so you could identify menus more suited to your preferences. In comparison with another meal supplier My Food Bag was vastly better.”

“We are loving the Vego Food Bag. We enjoy the variety of meals and at times, can add a wee bit meat if we choose to do so. We are trying the Plant Based Food Bag, and again we are really enjoying those meals. Our daughter is also a convert. :) An awesome effort by Food Bag all round. Thank you.”

“I recommend MFB to everyone and anyone. It’s so amazing coming home and having Most of the ingredients already measured out... it truly takes the stress out of cooking when you get home after 5 and have to feed a toddler really quickly. I also love how you can change up your options - we’ve been having the vege bag for quite a while now and it’s made us feel so good and opened our minds up to all the different things you can do without meat. Love love love”

“My husband and I are big fans of My Food Bag. We prefer the vegetarian option as this increases our vegetable intake. The bag always arrives on time and in good condition. All product are fresh and of good quality. It saves so much time in shopping and the recipes are so easy that anyone can cook them! Also the website works very well, it is easy to skip deliveries, there has never been a mistake with charging and the customer service is very friendly! 5 stars!!!!!”

“The good the bad and the ugly: The good; My Food Bag is convenient, delicious and affordable. I feel like I am eating out in a nice restaurant three to four nights of the week, (Gourmet bag) and I made the food! The menus always surprise me and make me expand my food horizons. The ones I am most unsure of usually end up being my favourite meal. Delivery is consistent. The bad; The food isn’t always fresh, the odd rotten lemon or not the best chosen garlic. The cooking instructions could be slightly clearer and have tips (for us non kitchen savvy people) for example, have food prep videos on the app. How to cut leek and wash it. Once I didn’t receive the correct sauce for a meal, instead a double up for another meal. The ugly; It would be nice to have recipes for the sauces and where to find all the ingredients so we can recreate our favourite meals. The fish is often very smelly and off when it arrives. This ruins the fish meals. There is at least one fish meal per week so it’s a waste of food. If you can send fresh fish, that will make a huge difference. Also, seal the fish/meat, smelly fish juice leaked out into all the other cool items in the box. Gross. Finally, make the meals customisable, i.e. no bell peppers/capsicum, swap for x. Slow for allergies and food preference. Make the prices adjustable to reflect food swaps. We really enjoy our food bags and couldn’t go back to not getting them. It’s a new experience nearly every night! Cuts food waste, saves time and adds flavour, colour and a new element to our food life! Thanks!!”
