“After trying alternative food bag options I chose My Food bag as the recipes looked healthy and filling. I wasn’t disappointed as the ingredients that came were of a really high quality, with some quality brands. The portion sizes have also been great with the box for 2 often being enough for both dinner and one lunch-so helpful with a busy schedule and kids. I would rate the types of proteins and iron rich foods as excellent-with the amount of fat kept low and the sauces and dressings being low sugar too. Great nutritional values for our vegetarian family! Love my food bag and would rate way above competitors.”

“Fresh Start meals offer a variety of meals that are well balanced and tasty. Recipes use ingredients that are seasonal and the staples that are needed from your pantry is kept to a minimum. It takes the hassle out of meal planning and is cost effective. Was skeptical about the idea of My Food Bag but now I look forward to seeing what is on the menu for the following week!!”

“Gone are the dreadful days thinking about "Whats for tea, tonight"..... Do I have what I need? Do I need to rush to the supermarket after work?? I know I have everything I need at home ready and waiting to be put together with a simple to follow recipe. The meals are full of flavor and healthy. I love My plant based food bag meals and look forward to "Whats for tea".”

“Delicious food, easy to prepare recipes and healthy. Lots of tasty products not easy to get hold of in rural NZ. Makes meal time more interesting but what I really love is not having to decide what we are having for dinner.”

“Since switching to the my choice bag, there has been no consideration to whether or not recipes share ingredients. I don’t need 3 heads of lettuce in a week, or 4 cucumbers. I’ve also provided feedback on the delivery before - I’ve had one courier driver let himself into my house before (creepy as hell, I complained but I don’t believe anything was passed on) and I’ve had another literally drop the box over my gate leaving it so close that there is no way they could’ve placed it on the ground and as a result having the tomatoes in the box break everywhere.”

Whenever problems occur, please know that these get treated seriously and get passed onto the appropriate teams to follow up so that improvements are made. With regards to the My Choice Bag, ingredients are currently not shared between recipes. This is because each week there are 10 recipes to choose from and not all of our Foodies select the same recipes. We have however made sure to pass your feedback on to the wider team. “Loving the healthy, fresh food. Great for our growing, busy family. Has so many yummy things, we are loving trying something new. Even getting fussy teenagers to eat it is not a struggle. Love that we can get home hot and tired but tea will be ready in 30 - 40 mins. Easy to follow recipes. Thank you :)”

“We have been using bargain box for a few months now. The WHOLE family loves them. Even Mr fussy 5 year old and Mr everything is boring 7 year old. We actually eat way more veges as a family now and the meals are really tasty. The meals are varied and we all look forward to dinner time. I found bargain box to be more cost effective as it saves the many trips to the supermarket I used to be making. Try them out, you won't regret it.”

“Love ordering bargain box saves having to constantly be wondering what to have for dinner, also saves having to worry about having everything ready to cook in the pantry, or defrosting meat ready for that night, just love not having to make dinner a chore!”

“Very happy with the foodboxes we receive!! It does take the thinking and stress out of thinking what to make for dinner, making a shopping list of groceries to buy for dinner etc. I also love that I'm learning more about cooking through these boxes and the different flavor combinations that go together.”

“I am enjoying trying the new recipes from My Food Bag and have made some the the meals without the pre-prepared ingredients which has impressed my family and friends as I have never enjoyed cooking from scratch. I especially appreciate the fact ingredients are mainly locally sourced.”

“We love the meals from 'My Food Bag. My choice is great as we can choose which meals we prefer. My only complaint would be the way the box is packed, it looks like everything is just thrown in and no care taken. The bags of lettuce and spinach have quite often been at the bottom with heavy stuff on top leaving it squashed and limp.”

“We absolutely love receiving My Food Bag each Sunday night. Its like Christmas as I don't get to look what's coming prior so as we unpack the box and read the recipes the excitement begins. What I also love is that my hubby and I get in the kitchen together and it is very easy to give him a job whereby we are whipping up these yummy creations collaboratively. In fact anyone who comes for dinner can help!”
