“I’ve used them twice (once a year ago so COVID-19 is not an excuse), both times they completely messed up the order and were unbelievably unhelpful when eventually speaking to someone about it. Waited at home all day for an 08:00-20:00 collection, nobody turned up. Called this morning and had no apology, saying there’s a system issue. I asked why I wasn’t called to be informed of this, to which he relied “we don’t do that as there’s no team that do that, you need to call us”. Bearing in mind their phone lines close at 16:00, but my delivery could have been collected at any point up until 20:00, this is ridiculous. He then said if I’d have checked online I would have seen an update, to which I advised I was checking the order every half hour all day. He then became so defensive that he raised his voice claiming that I told him he was a liar?! Then called me “sarky” and offered no alternative other than waiting three more days for an investigation to be concluded. This is not just an exception as it’s happened both times I’ve tried to use the service. All in all a terrible/no service, coupled with a terrible customer service!”

“I’m a worker for hermies in the warehouse I can tell u this now we don’t damage your parcel they come damaged to us n the workers should but it in damageged but they don’t they put it in the cages so it’s not our fault but some workers don’t brother with it”

“My parcel has been in the local parcel store for 3 days un collected and It was supposed to be next day delivery going 50 miles away. I have spoken to the parcel shop owner who informed me he has rung Hermes Bridgend every day for them to collect and they informed him they are 5 drivers down so dont know when it will be collected, he has a room full of parcels for Hermes just sitting there making a lot of customers annoyed disgusting service.”

“I have been waiting since last Friday for a delivery from Hermes. What a total disaster.. The delivery is not to a home it’s to a Health Centre. Every day I have had a email saying could not deliver as the premises are CLOSED??? Really it’s a Health Centre and we are open it’s just you have to ring a bell to speak to a receptionist and then she will come to the door and take your parcel. Or ask you to leave it and she will get it. Just to let you know trying to speak to anyone is not an option I have left my email telephone number but still no contact from Hermes. I eventually had to spk to the supplier who could see the problem I am having after he went into my delivery status. The company have had many complaints regarding there goods being delivered by HERMES.”

“Dishonest, disgraceful and disgusting company, not trust worthy, they stole my parcel which cost me around £1000, after 2 months lying they admitted that it's staff stole my parcel, first they said couldn't find the address, then claimed there an illegal item in the parcel, produce proof of address, collection , purchase. For 2 months they made believe that was my fault. Inside there was antique ring. All disappeared with an apologies & compensation”

“Attempted to have a parcel collected on monday it never happened!! Reported Tuesday I was told it would be collected Wednesday it never happened again. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET A PAREL DELIVERED”

“If I could give less than 1 star I would cus I think even that is too generous. Delivered my parcel to the wrong address and I only know because the driver has the cheek of taking a photo of it and I recognised the carpeting wasn’t the one for my building but now I have no idea of how to find it and I can’t get through to an actual human to speak to. Just robots. I’m so angry. How are they still being allowed to operate”

“You have had my parcel for 3 weeks ! No way of contacting you to find out what is happening, all robot staff who say contact local depot, local depot can not be contacted ! Genuinely the worst customer services in the U.K. how can this be allowed to go on in this day and age ?”

“Worst delivery service there is. Most the items I receive go back because they are damaged or no longer of use due to the time delivery takes. The tracking system does not work and updates after delivery. My delivery is on its way and now its not.Im missing two parcels.Terrible service that I am paying for.Items arrive on the back seat of someone's car parked across public footpaths. I give Hermes another 5 years before you go under. You're not doing what you state you will do and you offer no form of live contact. I for one am contacting the ombudsmen as you're not holding onto for what i have payed for any longer. Also Is there anyway you can block my address from accepting orders to Hermes, block my address and return the order on your system. I want nothing delivered by Hermes any longer but unfortunatly some sellers use a cheap delivery option. They also struggle with sales after you guys mess delivery up. Hermes-the weakest link in the supply chain world- you're a household name for unreliability ,and unreliability will fail.”

“My parcel was delivered but the contents stolen and replaced with arbitrary worthless items. This happened on 2 deliveries fulfilled by Hermes. They employ thieves! Have made a claim and also reported to police.”

“NON RELIABLE AVOID NON RELIABLE AVOID My parcel is in the Parcel shop from a WEEK BACK and i can see that the driver did not collect the parcel yet and i am unable to collect it my self and use a different courier to send it my self THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM I used the chat to contact someone nothing I tried the phone same they hang up in my face so there is no way to contact them on google the numbers are not working as well and the email i did not get any answers after 4 days”

“We had our third parcel from Hermes that got lost. We live in a big building, with signs all over saying to not leave parcels unattended in the communal areas. We received an email saying the parcel had been delivered at 13h51. We got to the communal downstairs area 5 mins later only to not find anything at all. This time, though, we were prepared. After asking the building concierge, we checked the CCTV of the building from 13h40 onwards, showing NO DELIVERY MAN entering the building at all. The parcel was not delivered, we have CCTV evidence. There is no way to speak to a bloody human being at Hermes whatsoever, it's a ghost company that steals, breaks, damages and abandons people's property and money. Somebody needs to do something about these degenerates. If anyone knows of any legal challenges, news reports, or whatever effort being made to bring this criminal company to justice, please post here so that we can do our part too. This company is gonna ruin Christmas for thousands of people in this country.”
