It sounded suspicious that an online retailer will expect their customers not to have any returns and then insist on wire transfer.

I don’t shop at MyTheresa that often but have in the past and have not returned many orders, but it turns out my order was cancelled dut to “excessive returns.

Surprisingly and without any prior warning have been blocked from purchasing due to excess returns. Have been a loyal purchaser of expensive clothing for years but am between sizes and always return promptly. Am shocked but comforted somewhat they I am not alone in this experience. I have a voucher to use that I will spend straight away for risk of losing that too, never again. Anyone have any other good recommendations?

Shockingly, this so-called policy about excessive returns isn’t stated anywhere on their website, leaving customers unaware of this hidden categorization.

I called and inquired and was told it was the system which had indicated I had too may returns.

This was apparently because of high number of returns on my part.

They then ask you to transfer them by bank transfer! That way they waiver their fees and you have no consumer rights on returns/refunds.

Similar experience. I’ve been a MYT customer for years and have always used my Amex but now they are blocking orders paid with using this exact card. If this relates to returns why claim you can make easy returns if not happy with purchase?! Absolutely ridiculous. No one is going to wire money over. Need to sort it out.

I have certainly returned product when it doesn’t fit, but my spending certainly outweighs my returns.
