I started my Journey with NACA in 2019, with the constant change in staff, it became very frustrating after waiting months to get an appointment and when the time came, the counselor I was assigned moved on to better opportunities. after 1 1/2 I didn't get far. It was very difficult but, I kept doing what I was supposed to do by gathering all my paperwork necessary. The ball was dropped along the way, I didn't get anywhere. I attended a workshop in December 2024 in two weeks I got an appointment. My counselor is amazing, David Luster, my first visit with him, I was pre-qualified with NACA. It's am ongoing process, working with David, has been great.

I have been working with Jose Cruz since 2019 to buy a house. There are a lot of steps and processes that need to be followed far, and the process is going smoothly. Much appreciated to Jose. He was kind, helpful and I can't wait to become a homeowner. Thank you Naca.

First, I want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to work with NACA. I first learned about NACA in 2018, and in 2019, I decided it was time to take the step toward owning my own property through their program. I attended the seminar and found it very informative. Unfortunately, soon after, the devastating virus impacted us all. However, I believe that everything happens for a reason. Currently, I am fortunate to be working with a very supportive person named RECA. She truly knows how to connect with people and is always ready to answer questions in a clear and understandable manner. I am very thankful to have her assistance throughout this process. In conclusion, I highly recommend NACA to anyone looking to purchase their first home. It is a welcoming platform that can help you achieve your goal!

Recently divorced and starting over can be daunting. The NACA program is a blessing for homebuyer hopefuls such as myself in achieving their homeownership dreams. From the very start in attending a workshop, to my phone interactions with the customer service specialist, to my counselor engagement, very one has been very professional, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I look forward to a successful completion of the programs and will tell anyone, it's worth the time and effort. S. Robinson

I like that there was the option to fulfill attending the workshop via virtual. This gives you the opportunity to go at your own pace. I would recommend NACA for first time home buyer program in the future with others I know are ready to be a home owner. The process can move quickly depending on how quickly you can upload all your documents after completing the workshop.

I LIKE THAT THERE WAS AN OPTION TO VIRTUALLY COMPLETE THE HOMEOWNERS WORKSHOP. THIS GIVES YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLETE THIS AT YOUR OWN PACE & LEISURE. IW OULD RECOMMEND NACA FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO BE A HOMEOWNER. THE PROCESS CAN MOVE QUICKLY OR SLOW DEPENDING ON HOW ADAMANT YOU ARE WITH GETTING ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS UPLOADED TO YOUR PROFILE TO BE ASSIGNED A COUNSELOR & GET THE PROCESS GOING.

Starting a new journey of buying my 1st home. So far I have experienced excellent customer service anytime I have any issues when I call in every one has been very helpful. They have been very patient with me getting all of my information today and even gave me extra time to get my stuff together. I am almost finish with the process and already have referred mutiple people. They have extended a lot of help with me. I know if I would have done this on my own it would have took a lot longer. Thank you NACA for this opportunity!🤗

The NAAC program aligns perfectly with my goals, and I am excited to grow as a landlord through this valuable initiative. My mortgage counselor, Mr. Alex Garcia, is an incredible individual who is patient and genuinely dedicated to helping you get approved in a short period. If you follow his recommendations and instructions, you are bound to succeed in this program. So far, NAAC has proven to be the best housing program in the United States.

My experience buying with NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America) Over the past 4 years, I have been going through the whole process of buying a home for the first time and spent plenty of time on this sub to learn from others. Unfortunately, there aren't many posts about NACA, so I thought I'd share my experience so far of trying to buy a home with them for the next person who comes looking. Pros: 1. No down payment and no PMI 2. No closing costs or fees 3. Lower Interest rates than the actual market 4. Homeownership and personal finance education through mandatory workshops 5. NACA team helping with the process Cons: 1. Can be a longer and more intensive process 2. Stricter affordability limits (making sure you don't buy more than you can afford) 3. Property location limits (some high-income earners are limited to where they can buy) The number one complaint I read about NACA is how long it takes to go through the process. This can be true for those unprepared to buy, as NACA requires specific requirements to be met before pre-approval. This includes things like 2 years at your job, several months of saving your desired monthly mortgage payment and reducing credit card debt. But the process can be quick and easy if you've already met those requirements. My main advice is to go to the Counseling Sessions prepared. If possible, have all the required documents completed before your first meeting (this includes things like bank and credit card statements, tax documents, rent payments, etc.). You already know what they’re looking for because it’s all listed in the various handbooks, and they explain it all at the initial Workshop. Pay attention, keep notes, and ask questions. I had already been putting money away into a ’saving for house’ savings account, so I didn’t need to make any adjustments to show that I could save. But if you need to start putting money away, do so as soon as possible. Other than that, I have been lucky to have an experienced and helpful counselor, All in all, so far, my experience with NACA is good. I certainly wouldn’t have been in a position to purchase a home at this time if I had to provide a down payment with a worse interest rate. I can either buy a cheaper one or wait another year or 2 to save up a down payment. Through NACA, I don’t have to compromise, but I also know I wouldn’t overbuy because of their thorough approval process. Good luck, everyone!
