“I did an all day CLE. Throughout the morning presentation the attendance prompt did not come up. Over the lunch hour I contacted NBI and was told that I was on the wrong page - apparently following along with the materials on my screen did not allow the attendance prompt to come up. I was instructed to keep the screen with the presenter open to see the prompts clearly. No attendance prompts came up for the afternoon session despite being on the screen with the presenter. I’m certain I did not get the full benefit of the seminar because of my preoccupation with providing evidence of my attendance i.e. time stamped notes and photographs throughout and the inability to follow along with the materials. Not unexpectedly I received an email suggesting that my request for credit required an explanation as to why I did not engage with the attendance prompts. Of course I would have engaged with the attendance prompts had there been any attendance prompts to engage.”

“National Business Institute provides quality CLE training at an affordable rate. In Pennsylvania, if I were to take the needed courses individually, I'd be paying far more than my annual rate at NBI. Added to that, my representative, Kiersten often checks in with me to ask if there are any issues. Go ahead--try to get that level of service somewhere else!”

“Excellent topics on relevant law and updates. Classes that exceed 3 hours are a huge waste of time, specifically the multiple 6 hour courses which should be broken down into more manageable parts.”

“Course description was inadequate. I received a manual for Kentucky probate. It is worthless and I completely wasted my money. I need Indiana probate.”

“First presenter was very good. she was lively and presented in an easy to understand format. The second presenter was very boring. Image was grainy, she read mostly from the too detailed slides. Impressive credentials, but needs to improve presentation skills.”

“The recent vaccine course was worthless. Presenter gave virtually no information that has not been available through public channels. She did not answer crucial questions--instead just posed them, then left them hanging. 15 minutes of research would yield more information than this entire seminar. Also, it was incredibly biased for employers. I would have greatly preferred a more neutral approach to an issue that is dividing the country. This was a waste of my time and money.”

“The CLE program was excellent. The presenter was well-spoken and very knowledgeable. My only complaint is that NBI stated that the program was approved for CLE in Virginia, but in fact, it has not yet been approved due to a COVID backlog. NBI assures me that it will be approved, but that I cannot receive my CLE credits until it is (possibly months from now). I need my CLE credits in order to return to active status with the bar so NBI's response is not helpful. NBI's website should clearly state the approval status of its courses.”

“I took a three hour on demand ethics course and watched it in segments over two days but System glitched when seeking credits. Clicked on all interactive requests as they appeared on the screen and when seeking credit for course was advised by System that I had only watched less than a third of ethics course. I cannot devote time to watching on demand if the System glitches because the video is paused occasionally during the course of watching the entire program. The virtue of on demand is supposed to be the flexibility of watching segmentally between other daily practice demands.”

“Huge rip off!!!! paid like $395.00 and assumed for that price I was getting actual CLE hours and after I had spent the entire day on the program saw that it was all self study CLE which I already completed from another company for $54.00. So one of the biggest rip offs I have ever seen. I called my bank and have contested the charge.”
