I am a Fiduciary Officer for a bank and I enjoy the wide variety of courses that are available through NBI. I usually take courses related to Trust and Estate topics. I then submit them to the American Bankers Association for continuing education credit for my CTFA (Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor) continuing education requirements. Unfortunately, I have to request special approval for these credits each time, as they have not been pre-approved. Can NBI begin to have these credits submitted to the ABA for pre-approval for CE credit?

They listen to their customers regarding future class needs, the price is right for the small practitioner, and highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more. The only "con" is that the materials are difficult to print up with extra pages in between and costly to print up on a non-commercial printer.

On both CLEs I listened to, I had to go back and repeat hours, not minutes, but hours of the recorded program. When I paused, it jumped way back. No way to catch up. Frustrating, stressful. I called, waited on hold, they said too bad, shouldn't be trying to listen on my phone. Really? Should have said that in your informational material eye you were touting the ease of listening on the go.

This training had good information, but also seemed very redundant. It seems it could have been completed in 3 hours rather than 7.

Good CLE content. Wish the written information was more than just slides for all content - some CLE content is just slides or bullet point notes.

My only complaint was technical. I had some trouble managing the webinar after breaks, and sometimes there were freezes and I got knocked out of the seminar and had to log back in.

Every year I purchase the unlimited bundle. There is a significant diversity of courses plus the forms library. You also are assigned a representative. In 2021 I had a technical issue with obtaining credit for a course with the deadline for CLE approaching. . My representative handled it the day I reported the problem.

NBI courses are thorough and give you real practical insight from actual practitioners in the practice area that are there to share and not just get the credit hours. The subscriptions allows you full access when you want and the Hot Shot feature is a great and efficient way to jump into something with enough to get started. Very happy with the service, which is why I renewed.

The course was far too expensive, especially considering significant chunks felt like the instructor was reading directly from a slide. If you're going to charge this much, it should be engaging and the content should be updated every year. At its current state, I'd say it's about 50% overpriced. Despite that, it's still one of the better CLE experiences I've had. Granted, that may say more about the CLE market than anything else.

Too much time was spent on information pertaining to state-related topics - the state of LA or VA. Not helpful for those of us not located in those states & who don't deal with state income tax

The presenters did well in disseminating good information in an understandable manner. NBI is behind the times with many competing continuing education providers allowing access to the webinar for a limited time. You simply cannot retain 8 hours of information after a single attendance. I would increase my rating to four or five stars if NBI provided even limited access to the recorded webinar for those who attend the live program.

Timely topics with comprehensive coverage. The webinar materials are good references. Best way I have seen to refresh topics formally studied forty years ago. Unlimited Subscription is a good investment for young and old, experienced and novice.
