First the information was covered a break neck speed with limited time for questions and zero group interaction. Second, the information presented was what every principal, school psychologist or social worker already know and third the last presenter had horrible communication skills, it was painful to watch her mangle her presentation both factually and in her delivery. It's clear that the subject is not one NBI has expertise in otherwise they would put together a more have engaging conference.

These conferences could go into more depth about the advertised topic instead of breadth about adjacent topics.

The forms I bought access to on Oklahoma need to be embellished. I purchased what I thought were a large volume of forms. Even access to generic forms would be welcome.

BOUGHT A SUBSCRIPTION. NOT ENOUGH LIVE SEMINARS VS. ON-LINE. OHIO REQUIRES AT LEAST HALF OF HOURS TO BE ACHIEVED AT LIVE IN-PERSON EVENTS.

This was presented as an intermediate level course. I was specifically interested in tax breaks for simple trusts and did not get much of that.

I would prefer more california presenters in the area of trust/probate/conservatorship, but there is also a lot of excellent basic material.

I'm a CA attorney. I signed up with NBI instead of CEB because of the live in-person classes. I've attended a total of 4 days of live classes. The classes are only as good as the teachers (some are better than others). When my membership is up, I'll probably go with CEB so that I can get CA-specific classes since the live in-person trainings are not exceptional.

The benefits were “switched” mid way through my last membership. I was being being charged for tele conferences when it was previously included.

The rating would have been five stars but for the technical aspect. The requirement of adobe flash player prevented me from attending on a smart phone or tablet and forced me to find a PC while mine was unavailable. Adobe flash player is a dying app and there is no reason to continue to rely on it for web casts. The substance of the program would have received five stars if listed separately.

The training course was very informative and I am grateful for the information packets and documents provided. However, the presenters went too fast or skipped around a lot which made it hard to follow. By the time I found where they were they were skipping around again or rushing through information that I thought was important. That was frustrating.

The first speaker at the training was late, yet she went over her time allotment, therefore, the latter speakers did not even get a chance to discuss the main topic for which I was attending the training. I was very disappointed. However, the materials that I received were good. Perhaps the individual from NBI who is monitoring the entire training could have maintained the schedule better so ensure that all topics were presented.

We purchased a DVD. We were given a choice between a download or a hardcopy for accompanying material. We chose hardcopy, but never received it.

This seminar was very rushed with speakers unable to complete their presentations. Good thing we got a book to cover things later.

To a significant extent this was cursory on many topics. A better program would have provided document samples (e.g., to resolve boundary issues), and the materials needed to have case and statutory citations. To the extent that the course involved litigation with federal, state and local governments the presentation was missing needed discussions on sovereign immunity and traps for the unwary.

The materials were useful. Thank you. I was there from 8:30-4:15 due to another meeting at 4:30 and it lasted long....til close to 5:30. My colleague tried to get my completion form and was told no. It's not my fault it went long. The presenters mostly read the materials...it was good when the audience shared scenarios in networking. I would like my certificate please.

The meeting room at the Holiday Inn was too small, too drab, dreary and depressing. The speakers were good.

1. Specific examples as to who is as an interested or adverse Trustee for an Irrevocable Trust, ie husband or child, in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code would be helpful. 2. Samples of some of the basic wording of Irrevocable trusts and common mistakes in wording would also be helpful.

The materials provided by NBI were NOT specific to the State of California, which drastically reduced the helpfulness. Also, I still haven't received my MCLE certificate.
