I was stunned that a professional website would allow an attorney of all people to speak publicly in a room filled with his laundry and clothes. It was so tacky. That aside, the content was fine although I believe audience is looking for even more details in the process. Showing examples of forms for one state to state situation would have been a good idea for $100. He had some good stories from his own experience and that is always worth listening to.

Overall a good course. In the future I would prefer if all presenters had slides as that is what will be used by attendees once the course is over.

The presentation and written material provided for Long Term Care, etc, were excellent. The presentation of Basic Tax Concerns, not so.

It was ok but I was hoping for a bit more nuts and bolts of the litigation process. I’ve been a planner for decades. The retort and causes of action are a routine part of a planning practice, but the actual litigation elements of contested matters are foreign to me. I strive to keep my clients out of conflict and out of court, but I do need to know more about what happens should the planning be challenged. This did not satisfy this goal.

The Trust and Estate From Start to Finish CLE I took was valuable, however, the second speaker ruined it for me. I took the CLE because I know nothing about trusts and estates... this CLE was marketed as being a good course to take if you know nothing. The first speaker spelled everything out, which was fantastic, however, the second speaker assumed too much prior knowledge and didn't elaborate on the tax implications part of the course, which is arguably the most important part. He also didn't follow his outline, so I was stuck trying to understand what he was saying without a guide. I usually love NBI but this course wasn't great. I'm happy to have the outline, but now I need to find a few hours to independently read it to catch up on the material that should have been taught.

The content and speakers for the seminar were fine. However, having to repeatedly hit a checkmark every few minutes to prove I was LISTENING to an online program is ridiculous.

I have found many of the CLEs too generic to be of benefit - designed more for the lawyer who is looking to complete CLE requirements than to share substantive knowledge. My recent webinar experience has been that there were serious audio quality issues. The faculty who presented my most recent webinar was also terrible. The quality of his presentation was low.

The presenters no doubt know their stuff, but what leaves me disappointed is that many courses described as “all the things you need to know about x” or “fundamentals of x” frequently include meandering presentations that focus on the advanced experiences of the presenters with little of the fundamentals one would expect, or include presentations that focus merely on the laws of one state (typically, not mine). Accordingly, I have found little value in having taken such courses via NBI.

The video feed would quit with the error notice " content not available". One had to reopen My Account and start a new video feed, where the lecture was on-going. The first time this happened I waited for the lecture to continue. When I did not I re-opened My Account. This was frustrating. I missed content and also the opportunity to validate my attendance with the random "check mark". This occured four times. The last time at 4:12 and 4:41 p.m. EST in the "Ethics" presentation. Mr. Silverman's presentation jumped between the outline in his materials and his more detailed materials. Presentations are more effective when the materials flow with the content. Ann Larkin's presentation tracked her power point and the printed materials. Ann Larkin reference her email "in the materials". Would you please provide her email contact as it is not in her "bio", the materials or the brochure.

Program was fine but the periodic monitoring of presence was more like attempts at "GOTCHA"-----wat too extreme----some as frequent as every 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the presentors reffered to "outlines'' or written materiels that the paricipants had in hand. I was not provdied any written materials in advance of the zoom session. That was disconcerting. Can I expect that written materils are still to arrive? I was a late registrant. RBB

My experience is limited to two programs, but I found one to be very good and the other to be unengaging. I decided to pay more for my online CLE this year hoping for a higher standard of programming.

NBI provides a tremendous amount of information, but it should be presented in a more audience-friendly format to accommodate all learners. Please include visuals (graphs, charts, etc.), chunk information that is relevant together, and do include a bit more info on legal cases that support certain info (not just the name of the case). Those are interesting and helpful, but I forget the relevance once the webinar is over. If the key points were on the handouts, it would make those notes more useful.

This training had good information, but also seemed very redundant. It seems it could have been completed in 3 hours rather than 7.

The course was far too expensive, especially considering significant chunks felt like the instructor was reading directly from a slide. If you're going to charge this much, it should be engaging and the content should be updated every year. At its current state, I'd say it's about 50% overpriced. Despite that, it's still one of the better CLE experiences I've had. Granted, that may say more about the CLE market than anything else.
