The information was good. I took the training as I transition into a director of special education position so a lot of what was said was things I know already but it put some of it in context of the law which was interesting. I thought both presenters were knowledgeable but a lot of overlap that could have been condensed. I know I purchased an audio training module, but it would have been nice there was video. The PPT packet was good, but it was hard to keep track of where the speakers were. The additional resources were nice as well. As for the company, it would be nice if you had different listserv for different job classifications as a lot of the MANY emails I have received already are not relevant to my position. I have already debated unsubscribing just do to the amount. (To my own fault, I haven’t looked to see if this is possible. If it is already, thank you!) All in all, I think the educational information available from NBI!

This seminar was very informative. However, there were network issues throughout the presentation which was distracting and annoying.

As a CPA - I need CPE 40 hours a year; without the in-person classes of eight hours (not your fault I know) I am having difficulty finding online CPE in your system; a couple ones and twos here and there. I don't think I can find 30 or 40 one hour online sessions to attend by end of year 2020. Could you make the search feature easier to use for non CLE credits?

When I signed up earlier this year, this was for the availability of not only the national courses, but especially for the local, state-specific courses. I realize that the in-person seminars have been cancelled due to Covid-19, but NBI should host those online. It's not that difficult. Most every other entity is figuring it out and did so quickly. Moreover, when this first happened, NBI was incredibly slow to pivot to hold video webcasts live and the first two I signed up for were obviously recorded previously and not live. Finally, the (finally) live webcasts are poorly produced. Sound issues occur in each Q&A session. The presenters have not been guided on how to present via webcams. Many never look at the camera or we spend an hour looking up their nose because they have not been guided on something as simple as "raise your monitor to face level." The loss of the in-person two-day live probate seminar plus the subpar production mean I do not feel I've gotten what I originally agreed to pay for. I have not gotten any communication from NBI about that other than that in-person events are cancelled. This is disappointing and leaves me with less faith in NBI being able to fulfill its offerings in the future.

Thank you for this feedback, we’re truly sorry this has been your experience. As you can imagine, the pandemic has forced us to determine how to transition over 600 programs across 50 states to an online format in very short notice. When the speakers are all able, we have managed to transition a number of our courses to a webinar format, but it sounds like this unfortunately has not been the case for courses you have signed up for. We are continuing to do this as the situation is ever evolving and can assure you we are working hard to get more state-specific online content out there. With the Live Pass and the All-Inclusive Pass from the National Business Institute I have been able to maximize my funds by taking advantage of the Live Pass and the All-Inclusive Pass. Each course I have taken would have cost much more individually than the cost of the All-Inclusive Pass. I recommend to save money, getting the All-Inclusive Pass for all your Continuing Legal Education and Paralegal Education needs,

I had a good experience overall. The program was informative and i was able to do ethics credits without any disruption to my schedule. It worked out perfectly and it was surprisingly really easy to submit the credits. I will definitely take more cle credits here and would recommend to colleagues.

I learn a lot from the experienced presenters. I have found that many of them are willing and able to consult on specific cases afterward. The support is especially appreciated when you are part of a small firm. NBI has offered a CLE on every topic I have needed. Great resource.

I selected a 3 hour ethics course that was approved for PA credit, on Thursday, May 21st. I completed the course on Friday, May 22nd. After completing the survey for PA credit, the bring down menu did not have an option for PA. After speaking to someone at NBI, they checked, only to say that the PA approval for CLE had "expired" on Thursday, the 21st. There was nothing in the course that noted this would be the case. THAT is UNACCEPTABLE. Otherwise, the course instructor was pretty good. However, this seems to be a bait and switch for anyone paying for the course. Shame on you.

The availability and range of topics is good. The generic nature, without local application and often without specific examples, while perhaps understandable, makes the presentations less helpful.
