The course I took did not have a designated expertise level. The moderater noted that there were new attorneys in the audience. Yet many of the speakers used jargon and acronyms that a non-specialist would not understand. I found myself looking stuff up on the web just to try to follow along. There was no information given as to how or when credits would be reported to my state bar. I found this very frustrating. Frankly, I take, and pay a lot for, these courses to meet CLE requirements. You would think a company that owes its business to those requirements would be more attentive to this detail.

I have been using NBI for my CLE for years and usually have a good experience. The process of buying this seminar went fine and I had an issue that required contacting them by phone -which all also went fine. The seminar itself had some good presenters and content. But the agenda and organization of the materials was confusing and hard to follow. The seminar had a substitute presenter for some of the topics (someone who did not write the seminar materials). While I have no issue with the substitute presenter, that process diminished the value of the topic and materials. I think there should have been a notice on the site that would have alerted a purchaser to the change. I would have preferred to have selected a different seminar. NBI - you should consider giving a notice for the on-demand videos when this happens.

I thought the Webnair was good but just too long and too much information packed into one day. The SNT portion could have been another seminar by itself. Because you have Video By Demand so that I can go back and review the seminar of the portions I missed or lacked concentration because I was exhausted, saved the day. Once the seminar on Video by Demand is available, I will go review it. Thank you.

I believe general classes covering multiple states are a waste of time. I would greatly prefer classes covering a single state, or even a single county.

I like that there is on demand content. I hate the check-ins, and on my last CLE there were check ins ever 15 minutes. It was ridiculous, I couldn't even get up to go use the restroom.

The speakers are very monotone and difficult to listen to for long periods of time. Examples would help. Several years ago we were doing a lot of NBI courses but decided there were better products on the market. We tried again and feel the same.

The info presented was basic info learned in college and not really the in-depth info I was hoping to hear. Also, after sitting through an entire day, I was not able to earn CPDUs. I never got a survey to complete. The speakers also spent a lot of time repeating the same info from the previous speaker.

The substance was only "OK." The worst part about it was that the presenter went 15 minutes over the time allotted.

The idea of the class for divorce basics from start to finish for Paralegals sounded great in theory, but once the webinar started, it was difficult to hear each presenter (especially with sound pollution on their end like traffic and barking), and the visuals were glitchy and unclear. Perhaps, if presenters are loaned high-quality devices to stream from, the output would be better received.

The webinar was informative, however I thought it unnecessary for Mr. Gorby to mention his daughter graduating with a Ph.D. Mr. Consagra was difficult to follow with all of his "OK's", distracting mannerisms, personal stories and repeated accolades showered upon paralegals. Also, I am hearing disabled and wear hearing aids. As I have experienced with many remote meetings, the speaking is sometimes not loud enough for me, and/or muffled. My prime interest in booking this webinar was to learn about liability set-asides. I heard a lot about WC set-asides . . . not sure if liability set-asides were discussed. I was not paying attention 100% at that point but I'll look through the book provided and see if there's something there. Otherwise, I will contact one of the presenters for further information. The course was good. However, I was unable to open the web page to get my CLE certificate and no one ever picked up the phone when I called to inquire about the certificate issue. I finally hung up after 30+ minutes on the line.

The presenters were very knowledgeable but not practiced at lecturing particularly individually without a second person to help with the discussion; so the presentation was a little boring and therefore not as interesting as could be.

Content was great. Two of the speakers were really bad. Kathryn Ziegler said "um" almost every 3-4 words and it is really annoying. Joan Thomas seemed to lose her train of thought on multiple occasions. They were both very hard to watch for more than 5 minutes.

Not sure that I saw anywhere that this CLE was good for only 1.5 hours of Ethics credits, rather than the full 3.0 hours. Very unhappy about that.
