“They used to be my go to choice of travel but not anymore. I used to enjoy a relaxing journey to London. The price was also very good. Now the price is double the cost of the train. Everything has changed. No direct coaches into London from Northampton. Have to change coaches and wait 1 hour for the next one. Journey takes 4 hours and is expensive. Thank god for the trains.”

“The coach station in Newcastle looks derelict. No.office open or toilets old clothes lying on the ground . The journey to Manchester would have been fine except it was freezing cold on the bus and felt uncomfortable all the way. Manchester coach station superb”

“Recently took a National Express Trip Exeter - London Victoria - Norwich and back. The outbound journey was comfortable, the drivers informative and just an hours delay that was clearly due to traffic conditions in London. The Norwich - London Victoria return leg was on time and a comfortable and enjoyable journey. I would have given 5 stars but the London Victoria to Exeter return leg (NX504 - PP19) let the otherwise very good service down. The air quality was appalling, the fans were switched to maximum and made lots of noise and it was obvious that the air was being recycled. It was very stuffy, clammy and unhealthy.”

“Coach on time. Efficient service but desperately uncomfortable. Seat belts are of course a good thing but do they have to be so restrictive. You cannot make any movement whatsoever in them. Coupled with such hard seats it was a very uncomfortable journey. No amount of efficiency and cheapest price would make me suffer my journey again”

“12.25 from eltham to margate August 9th. The toilet was blocked up to the top, it was revolting. Never again”
